Arrest them. They are obviously admitting to a terrorist act!!!!!!

They are in our country and supporting terrorist act. I don't care if it is a false confession or not. We are in a state of war and the enemy has outed themselves for our capture. Don't tell me about rights. These are the folks that hide behind the American Justice system.

For the record, it is not illegal to be a member of AlQueda any more than be a member of KKK. There is a law however passed in the 90s then again in 2000s that say anyone associated with the support of terrorism against the US is illegal.

Send them to gitmo until the end of this war!!!

How pathetic is that? They can't do it themselves, so they both jump at the chance to take credit for it. You'd think they'd at least try to coordinate their lies. Instead, they become laughing stocks!

Who knows (even though i have my tinfoil hat on). Imagine the economic fallout that would occur if the Feds said an Al Qaeda affiliated group had attacked a refinery. If attacks of Iraqi pipelines drove speculators crazy imagine what a US refinery attack would do.

Somehow i doubt the Feds would say it was a terrorist attack, if it actually was one, unless the evidence pointing towards such a case was overwhelming and had already reached the public. There would be too much at stake for the Feds to admit a terrorist attack (especially if it was possible for them to claim other causes). Thus without incriminating footage there would be significant temptation for the Feds to say it wasn't terrorism. Saying it was would cause serious economic ramifications ranging from the dollar dipping even further to oil prices taking a significant uptick.

Army of the Levant

And here I was just the other day thinking how nobody calls that area "the Levant" anymore.

The government always had an explanation for terrorist attacks such as TWA 800, thus forcing Atta's boys to think of a way that the FBI could not continue the coverup. No one could explain away two jets flying into the Twin Towers, though I'm sure they would've if they could've.

I never know what to believe anymore. Our govt always seems to say "no terrorist activity" before it seems they could know, and I generally account that to them trying to not panic the public.
On the other hand, wouldn't it be good for the admin. if we had some terror attacks. Or, would it be bad? (I'm talking public opinion, and certainly not suggesting they want them to happen).
It's just really confusing.

Well I agree.

Video from the middle east and Iraq are published faster than this... sometimes I'm really amazed how fast that stuff gets out.

DUBAI, March 24 (Reuters) - Two Islamist groups have said they caused Wednesday's traffic backup on Houston's 610 loop, which caused the loss of 3 jobs, but the U.S. FBI said there was no evidence of "any criminal or terrorist activity". An unknown group, calling itself al Qaeda Organization for Holy War in the United States of America, said it would issue a detailed statement and video of the backup later. The statement was posted on the Internet on Thursday.

There, all better now.

Uh huh. They can't issue these now, as they need time to concoct them.

And you expect an agency that has been known to lie, to tell the truth because?

We should also be wary of the terrorists' claims. Blame them for the violence they commit, but don't give them credit for pulling off something they didn't. We'll see how this plays out over time, but I'll trust the government over the mujahideen.

Yep - they're just "doing the jobs Americans won't do".

Did you see the movie Signs? Remember the part where the brother put tinfoil on his and the kids heads? This is in reference to people who think aliens are trying to get into their brains, but tin foil will keep them (and their evil rays) out. So, it is sort of a dis at any conspiracy theorist.
