Michael Schiavo has filed a petition with the Supreme Court asking them to stay out of the case.
"Unfortunately the pleading they were given to make a determination, I would have had to rule with them. Will more people realize that the pleadings to Federal Court were wrong or am I talking to the wind for the most part. The Feds ruled on what was before them -- end of story!"
You may well be right, but those were the pleadings. That's what the attorneys sent to the courts. Were they bad pleadings? I don't know, because I have not read them and because I am not an attorney.
That's why every one of them has a (D) next to their name.

They have no more right getting involved in judicial proceedings than the judiciary has a right getting involved in legislative proceedings.
But are they draperies?

Just what are they going to determine is the cause of her death when this is over? It stems to whatever happened to her 15 years ago. So what was it? The law is not protecting this woman. If your in car accident and have a heart attack they say the accident is at fault. Okay whats at fault here? If she's allowed to die without knowing what happened to her 15 years ago, they become accessories if a crime had been committed.
I often wonder that. I will read the book I tend to be out there on that far right fringe way too often. ;^)

Felos is yakking on teevee, and disrespecting Governor Bush's press conference of yesterday. Same sort of lingo he referred to US Congress with.
Sam Steiger used to say that a judge was a failed lawyer who knew a governor. Sad.

It will be correct if people are determined to make it so. This case should cause people to ask questions about the legal system, judicial tyranny and the present culture. THis is a problem we have on both sides of the Atlantic, and we have been too nice, in my view, in the name of toleration to tell the leftists they are supporting evil. We have been too civil to tell them that they are proposing madness. We have been too kind to tell them that they are causing the ruin of our civilisation. No more, it's time to take the gloves off.

While it's wise to keep a wary eye on the UN, it never hurts to pay attention to what's going on in our own front yard as well.
"Quote" is a verb that sloppy writers have used as a noun for an unfortunately long time, and I see no end to it. That doesn't mean that purists must bow to it.
