What really hurts me so is that the Schindler's repeatedly over the years arranged to legally depose Michael Shiavo.

Michael Shiavo DID NOT APPEAR for any of the scheduled depositions....NOT ONCE.

You hear pundits etc and monsters like george felos saying this case has been litigated and litigated since forever.

But the TRUTH IS...Greer has DENIED all recourse from the Schindlers into looking into the fitness of Michael to be guardian.

The court is supposed to REACT to guardians who refuse to show up at legally set depositions.

The court of judge greer DID NOT ONCE allow the Schindler's to have Michael Shiavo deposed...a situation in which he would have been FORCED, under oath, to ANSWER THE QUESTIONS related to the bone scan of Terri that showed outrageous breakage and trauma of her back, femur in leg, trauma to both knees as well as BOTH ANKLES.

The Schindler's had NO ACCESS to her medical records.

WHAT KIND OF A GUARDIAN DENYS THE VICTEMS PARENTS THE RIGHT TO SEE THEIR DTR's MEDICAL RECORDS.

What kind of HATRED inspires that?

Not once has MIchael Shiavo, under Greer's orders, had to answer such questions as:

Why did you put a do not resusitate order on Terri's chart after getting the money.

Why did you stop all therapy and comfort to Terri.

Why no flowers, sunshine, outings, visits by friends?

Why did the nurses in the one nursing home take a restraining order out on you?

Why were you on prozac and three other medications related to mental problems at the time of Terri's collapse?

Why did you threaten to have nurses FIRED if they so much as offered Terri the basics in therapy or offered her liquid jello on a spoon?

Was your intent of hiding TErri away in a hospice done in order to make most think she is terminal?

Why did you almost attack Terri's sister in an argument that resulted in Mr Schindler calling your Psychiatrist who said..."CALL 911 immediately if Michael ever does this again....he is potentially violent."

WHY WAS TERRI DENIED THIS!

Please understand that the JUDGES repeatedly ignored Congressional will, family wishes, etc.
The Judges, many of them, had the power to change this, and didnt.

It's Congress' job to pass laws. they did that.
There really is nothing more that they can do.
But a Judge at any time could order injuctive relief.
That not a one of them is doing it is horrific.

Governor Jeb Bush said Wednesday if there is any uncertainty about Schiavo's condition, they should err on the side of ...

... [punishing her some more. Gov. Bush said 15 years of slurry and diapers isn't enough punishment for Terri to suit his agenda-driven interest group]."

What just drives me crazy is that the pumping proponents recite all their lofty prayers on FR while callously continuing behavior that they would never in a million years want for themselves.

Come on, step forward and be counted. Which of you 'eloquent' ones, busy pursuing your own agenda at her expense, if you were in the same condition (howsoever you describe it) would prefer to have your bowels pumped full of nutritional slurry and fill your diapers daily for 15-20-25 years rather than die and go home to Heaven? Be honest, now. Who wants to be the first to choose the slurry and the diapers over Heaven?

What does that prove? That you have attempted to repeal the Golden Rule. You would impose on Terri what you would never, ever impose on yourself if you had the choice. Shame on you all.

Dr. Keyes eloquently explained to him why the Governor has the authority RIGHT NOW under Florida Law and the state constitution to take Terri into protective custody NOW,...

If this was ever true, it is no longer. The governor's lawyers have litigated the extent of this asserted 'power' and the court held he did NOT have such a power and restrained him from doing what is urged. So far as I know, Gov. Bush has NOT appealed this order.

maybe, just maybe, we should be cautious about this' ... " Bush said.

7 years of hellish slurry pumping and diapers imposed on a woman who clearly said she would rather die. That's not 'cautious' enough, Governor? OK, here's a Golden Rule test for all the 'cautious', 'eloquent' ones around here. Anyone who believes that Terri hasn't suffered enough and deserves to be pumped some more has to be locked to a nursing home bed and be stomach pumped with slurry and wear diapers for the precise duration of any additional judicial appeals or procedures.

What's that I hear? "Oh, well, that's not fair ... it's not relevant ... see I read the Bible as saying ... after all, she's the one who is disabled ... I'm just pronouncing 'God's will' for her not for me." Yes, I thought so. You guys make the Pharisees of our Lord's time look good in comparison.

The problem with the first filing was that he went off on a tangent with the religious issue...and should have stuck to the main issue that could've possible won, which is the fact that hearsay testimony was admitted as absolute fact and not only should it have been inadmissible but should be looked at as highly suspicious considering Michael really has abandoned his marriage by fathering children & living in a common law marriage with another woman the last 10 years.

Would it also have been possible to argue that Michael's actions in denying therapy have likely contributed to any diagnosis of PVS, and it would be craven to allow a person to harm another person's condition and then use that same damage as justification for killing them?

I for one prefer an imperfect life to no life at all. Heaven can wait. Nobody *wants* to be disabled, eg
I wouldnt want to have Steven Hawking's disabilities, but its absurd, arrogant and cruel to say that he would be better off dead.

This flawed moral vision leads to euthanasia against 'lesser mortals'.

http://fatsteve.blogspot.com/2005/03/weird-blogosphere-and-political.html

"There is at least one case I've heard of where a woman was allegedly being starved to death, because she was supposedly in a persistent vegetative state. Then they changed their mind and fed her, and she eventually recovered. It's claimed she later said she was aware and suffering the whole time, and wondered why the idiots weren't feeding her."

"Diapers" are hellish?

So we should 'off' any old people who use 'depends' and put em out of their misery?

My God, I hope you're never asked to babysit an infant.

To: All; kenth; lakey

Thank you kenth! At least if they know that WE know, maybe that will get them to act.

Here's an e-mail I received today from rightmarch.com, a great group. Another number that RightMarch did not include is the Governor's Legislative Affairs Office: 1-850-488-5000 (might be easier to get through). I told them if children and grannies are getting arrested, Governor Bush should not be afraid, either.

So here's the info:

ALERT: Time is running out for Terri Schiavo. She's been
starving to death for seven days now. An expert neurologist
from the Mayo Clinic has testified that she is NOT in a
"persistent vegetative state," but is very aware of what
is going on around her. That means that in her present
state, she is in a great deal of pain and suffering from
starving to death -- she just can't communicate that fact
to those around her. Contrary to those that try to paint
a picture of a "gentle process," death by dehydration is a
cruel, inhumane and often agonizing death.

We MUST stop this inhumanity NOW.

Governor Jeb Bush is Terri's last hope. But it's not looking
very likely that he'll act on the authority he has... unless
he hears from YOU and ME in a powerful way, RIGHT NOW.

We had a meeting on Wednesday between folks from RightMarch
(William Greene and our attorney, Larry Klayman) and Governor
Bush's chief counsel (his top lawyer on staff). We presented
information on why the Governor has the authority RIGHT NOW
under Florida Law and the state constitution to take Terri
into protective custody NOW, and save her life.

Gov. Bush failed to take action.

We had a meeting on Thursday between our folks (this time,
Larry Klayman AND Ambassador Alan Keyes) and Gov. Bush's
Chief of Staff. Dr. Keyes eloquently explained to him why
the Governor has the authority RIGHT NOW under Florida Law
and the state constitution to take Terri into protective
custody NOW, and save her life.

Gov. Bush failed to take action.

In fact, at one point, we received definitive word that the
Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) was on
their way to the hospice where Terri is being held, to take
her in and re-insert her feeding tube. Then, the little
dictatorial tyrant, Judge Greer, gave an order for them to
NOT take her. They could have -- and should have -- ignored
this unconstitutional and illegal order... but Gov. Bush
told them to stop.

Gov. Bush failed to take action.

This is OUTRAGEOUS. Judge Greer has shown more courage in
trying to KILL Terri Schiavo than Gov. Bush has shown in
trying to save her. But instead of facing Judge Greer down
like he should have... Bush blinked.

This is THE pivotal moment in Gov. Bush's political career.
He MUST be a hero for Terri Schiavo. He needs to step up
to the plate NOW, and exercise his constitutional and legal
authority NOW, before Terri dies. But he doesn't seem to
be willing to take that chance and do it... so we need to
help encourage him.

So once more, we need YOUR help.

We need EVERYONE READING THIS MESSAGE to call Governor
Jeb Bush RIGHT AWAY, and ask him to do one simple thing:

"PLEASE EXERCISE YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY, AND
TAKE TERRI SCHIAVO INTO PROTECTIVE CUSTODY RIGHT AWAY."

That's all we're asking you to do. Just call Gov. Bush
NOW and beg him to save Terri's life, using the power he
already has.

TAKE ACTION: PLEASE call Governor Jeb Bush's office NOW
at 850-488-4441 (or fax him at 850-487-0801), asking him
to exercise the executive powers he ALREADY HAS, and take
custody of Terri Schiavo to save her from being starved
to death. You can also e-mail him at jeb@myflorida.com .

We've been here lobbying the Governor all week long. We've
had daily prayer vigils in his office, and nightly vigils
outside of his mansion at 700 North Adams. Hundreds of
people have been outside of Terri's hospice in Pinellas
Park, and we have chartered buses to bring many of them
here to Tallahassee to plead with Gov. Bush to use the
powers he has NOW to save Terri's life NOW.

Even Terri's parents, the Schindlers, will be on ALL THREE
major network morning shows today, thanks to our efforts,
pleading with Gov. Bush to act quickly. And we'll be here
ALL DAY on Good Friday to ask Gov. Bush to intervene to
save the life of Terri Schiavo. The governor has it within
his power to rescue Terri, and her life is in the governor's
hand.

You can click below to read -- AND USE -- the five legal
briefs that explain to Gov. Jeb Bush that he has the legal
authority to save Terri Schiavo:

Call Gov. Bush NOW and ask him to USE his legal powers to save
Terri's life. For the sake of Terri's life, we CANNOT afford
to wait while the courts bicker over jurisdiction -- and we
CANNOT let little two-bit judges order the Executive branch
to not do their duty.

Rhetorical dodging and weaving won't do. We're not talking about Steven Hawking who (so far as I know) does not claim to be a Christian. We're not talking about anyone else or "lesser mortals.' We're talking about YOU and you would want to have done to YOU. I am asking YOU who do claim to be a Christian, not as Paul said, "...like the rest who have no hope." Would you rather be pumped with slurry and live in diapers or go to Heaven? Which is it? No big lofty discussion of 'euthanasia'. Just, what would you want for yourself?

You know why this is so difficult for you? Because you know the answer and you don't want to admit it. And you have (vaguely) heard of the Golden Rule. And you know that what you want to do to Terri (against her wishes) you would never, ever want to have done to you. There's a word for that. Christ used it. Starts with "H" ...

Change the subject and avoid the issue, huh?

The question is, under our Lord's test of the Golden Rule, what would you want to have done to you if you were in Terri's condition (whatever you call it): more pumping of slurry and diapers or go home to Heaven? Which is it? No crossed fingers now.

You see you folks are just plain phonies. You always want to talk about how 'considerate' you are being of Terri; all the while wanting to treat her like a CPR practice dummy or one of those little dolls my granddaughters have that little girls can force water into and pretend to be giving them a bottle. Well, here' a news flash for you. Terri is not a practice dummy or a little doll, she is a woman who has been trapped in a situation you would never want for yourself for the last 15 years, the last 7 of which are due to people like you.

She's no different than you. Given the choice between where she is and Heaven, she'd take Heaven. (So would you if you were honest.) She told us so.

In your self-righteous sanctimony at her expense, you want to repeal the Golden Rule.

Congress could enforce the subpoena.

Jeb could go in as head of the Florida DCF and take Terri into Protective custody. He has the authority and power of his office but NOT the courage to do so.

I will never dorect ANYONE to remove a feeding tube from me no matter the circumstances.

If terri had had the care and rehabilitation she needed, she might well have recovered and would look as good as Kate Adamson today.

SHAME ON YOU for diagnosing that Terri cannot recover, and then sentencing her to DEATH by STARVATION because of it.

It is morally repugnant and barbaric to starve ANYONE even persons in comas.
