That would be lovely. Maybe someone has prayed to St. Terese for a rose . . .

It would be neat to see lots of flowers there. . . NOT as funeral flowers, but as love flowers, life flowers, resurrection flowers.

I thought that Terri was named after St. Theresa of Lisieux, but I read that she was named after St. Theresa of Avila. I don't know how true that is.

Goodnight everyone. More prayers for Terri Schindler and her family and more phone calls to Jeb Bush tomorrow. Let's pray for God to move Jeb's heart and give him the courage to take Terri into protective custody.

Save your money. Poor Terri will never get your flowers. She's not allowed such things.

I pray for Terri all the time and I am Jewish.

It is a night of merriment and plenty tonight, Purim, and how can we laugh and overeat and overdrink as we are supposed to, when Terri is dying of dehydration? I can only pray for a mracle.

No, IMHO one cannot be a real Christian and want Terri's death.. a true Christian follows the Bible.. God does not look kindly on killing innocents.. There is no Biblical allowance for "mercy killing" which this isn't...or straight murder (which this is). He especially wouldn't look kindly on an adulterous husband trying to starve his wife to death....

Thank you. You said so eloquently what I was trying to say.

Yeah me too.. and I keep forgetting about the place being a Scientology stronghold... those people frighten me worse than the Amway nuts.. (forgive me if I've been praying with any of those...)

Well, ya know....actually....you're probably right.

Someone mentioned Peretti's books....about the evil going on here, the spiritual battle. This reminds me SO MUCH of one of his books.

Rush said people will grieve this time.....but the next time will be easier.....and the next and the next.

It won't be long before hospitals and insurers won't cover those who want to live. This has already begun with the removal of life support last week of a baby in Houston with a fully functional brain but a heart and lung defect. I don't know what way this will go. It could be a steady decline in the valuation of innocent human life to the acceptance of murder as is currently found in the People's Republic of China, or it could eventual break into some kind of violent revolution. My personal hope is that the time of Divine Justice is very near.

I agree with you about Gibbs. The cards were already stacked against him, no matter how he would have presented the case. My understanding is that he did this all pro bono.

I have similar thoughts about Pres and Gov Bush. I know a lot of people are disappointed in them, but you know what? It is certainly evident that they were AGAINST this happening to Terri and WANTED to save her. Both of them did what they could within the Law, or at least within what their advisers told them was within the Law.

How can we condemn them for not going against the Law to rescue Terri if we have not ourselves stormed the Hospice to rescue her?

I'm certainly not going to judge anyone who has tried to save Terri. If I do, I have to point my finger at myself also. Have I done everything I could, even after days of fervent prayer and emailing, etc? The souls I'm concerned about are those who saw no reason to save her or to lift a finger to help.

Would that mean flowers could go to the facility for Terri, but just not in her room?

Denying her flowers alone is grounds enough to have him removed as guardian. Sheesh. He sounds like Himmler or something.

Schiavo Parents' Options Dwindle as U.S Judge Set to Rule Again

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000103&sid=aLgUQBhz6dmE&refer=us

snippet from above...

By yesterday evening the Schindlers were in U.S. District Court in Tampa, where Judge James Whittemore had earlier this week rejected a request to order reattachment of the surgical hose. Whittemore, after both sides argued for three hours that Terri Schiavo's constitutional rights had been severely violated, said he wouldn't leave the courthouse until he had made a decision.

``It is my intention to work until I have completed a ruling on this,'' said Whittemore as the hearing concluded at about 9:45 p.m. ``I'll be here as long as necessary.''

One more thing.....regarding Gibbs.

Jay Sekulow jumped in on the most important day of this case to say the lawyers handled this case poorly.

He is smart enough to know he's destroying their Christian law firm by planting that negative in people's minds across the nation.

That's snakey. The noble thing to do would be to continue speaking of other alternatives, but if you notice - on Sean Hannity - he was clueless. And cold.

JUST GOT HOME. I need to get some rest. I was working the media side of Terri's constitutional life crisis today. Sometimes I was on the protest/vigil side but I was mainly a freeper gopher today and it was kinda fun. Beyond that, nothing is fun about knowing that Terri is in there dying of thirst.

FOLKS, I JUST CAUGHT THE REPLAY OF NEIL CAVUTO'S BUSINESS REPORT ON FOX NEWS and they are discussing the effect of Terri's demise on THE ECONOMY. If Terri leaves us, it's going to effect a lot more than the economy.

BOYCOTT FLORIDA PRODUCTS, BOYCOTT FLORIDA but please tell them that you are doing so. Thanks, yawn, nighty nite. Floriduh Voter

Yeah so what? IMHO Jewish prayers are as useless as Christian ones. They are all passive when we need action. We should have been addressing the weak legal arguments Gibbs has been making and trying to retain David Bois rather then wasting our time praying in cyberspace. The fact that there are 1 or 2 Jewish prayers to every 100 Christian prayers does not make them less productive or exclusionary for that matter.

In this case, no, I disagree with him. There's far too much AGAINST him...there's too many unanswered questions. There's too many people who seem to have a stake in her death, and not her life.

I won't argue the starvation part as I have dear friends who've made that decision to do that w/their family, and I have not. Sitting here, tonight, I don't think I could EVER make that choice. Ever.
