It's been a week since Bluesagewoman had been assaulted by the so-called "peace" freak. We all know that he was arrested this past Sunday for all kinds of assault charges, not only against Blue but against the Columbia Police as well.
Ahh...Justice.
Anyhow, Blue was not alone this time around. There were 6 of us Freepers total this afternoon, and I am going to be a permanent fixture there. Blue is not going to be assaulted again, not if I have any say.
We fixed ourselves just down the street from the usual rif-raf crowd of "peaceniks". Of course, they had their usual signs.
We had our signs as well. TheSnowFlake had a sign that Blue held last week when she got assaulted. A picture is posted below with me holding it. Hehe...no wonder the peace freak got upset!
It was a pretty good turnout with a lot of people supporting us with their honks, thumbs-ups and waves. A young man dropped by thanking me and Blue. He is in the service at Ft. Lost-in-Woods. Go young man!
Here are the pics:

PING a LING
Thanks for being there and backing up the group. You are a shining example of "what is right" for our troops. I know they appreciate every one of you guys.
Oh I'm so glad to see you there, GulfWar1Vet! I'm glad you're back.
Also of interest: there were 3 of us at the Jeff City Post Office at noon today--and only 2 peaceniks. It was the first time our group outnumbered theirs. Yea! Lots of positive feedback from passersby, including one woman who took our picture to include in the "Welcome Home" video she's making for her husband who recently returned from Iraq. (She told me she gave me a hug the first day I was there last summer.) It was a good day in the state capital.
Thanks to all you Columbia FReepers for standing guard/point in the center of the peacenik-nest. You're wonderful!

Sorry for the double post. How do I do this?????
Yeah, I am back. Been gone way too long and no good reason why.
Anyhoo..I am back! :D
hehe..now I gotta get back to going on Saturday mornings!
What time do you guys meet on Saturday mornings and where? Can't make it this weekend, but would love to drop in sometime.
Thanks so much GulfWar1Vet. I've never had a personal body guard before!!! The traffic was heavy tonight, but I do believe we got a lot of positive feed-back.
Ha! GOOD ONE!
Wow, I haven't been around much lately and had no idea Blue had been assaulted! Are you alright Blue? You are one of my heroes here, and I hope you are okay!!! The Peace crowd shows their true colors again.
Way to go gang!
Hey, can anyone give us the particulars concerning that brave, woman-assaulting peacenik?
A name would be nice. A booking photo of the perp would be even better.
Congratulations on another successful FReep!
RE: the asinine assaulter
For him to push and hit a woman is disgusting. For him to also assault police officers is just plain stupid.
If that's not correct, bluesagewoman will correct me.
We have flags and signs, or bring your own. Join us any time. We'd love to have you!
Yep, we did get a lot of positive feedback and me and Snowflake really got into the nest when we both held up signs along with the peaceniks LoL
Tell me more, if you can...
It's amazing what the so-called "peace" movement is capable of, isn't it?
