A state judge issued an emergency order Wednesday to keep the Department of Children & Families from taking any action that would reconnect Terri Schiavos feeding tube. George Felos, the attorney for Michael Schiavo, asked Pinellas Circuit Judge George Greer to issue the order Wednesday while the judge considers a request from DCF and Gov. Bush to take custody of Terri Schiavo.

This may explain the delay.

But .. once she was in state custody - Greer would just have her removed and have the tube removed again How would that happen, since Jeb commands the state police?

If Greer orders Terri moved to foil any rescue, would that be considered kidnapping?
To: Humblebum
Big whooping deal. What's the penalty for violating a restraining order? Doesn't matter anyway. Jeb and/or Dubya could pardon them.

Yes it would and I believe that Jeb Bush would issue a warrant for his arrest.

The 23rd Psalm --- Translated to Terri's Present Reality !!! Another paraphrase for Terri:
I was hospitalized and you argued for states' rights.
I was thirsty, and you demanded separation of powers.
I was near death and you cheered Judical Activism.
Whom the least of these you've done this to, you've done to Him.
Before you post your witty rotort, go get a glass of nice refreshing water.

FDLE Agent Implicates McCabe in Halting Schiavo Probe; New Evidence, Subpoena Could Save Terri The Empire Journal Terri Schiavos life could be saved by a piece of paper. A simple subpoena. When a top ranking agent of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) opened a criminal investigation in the case of Terri Schindler-Schiavo, he was called into his supervisors office and told to shut down the investigation not once, but twice. The Empire Journal has learned from reliable, knowledgeable sources who spoke on condition of anonymity that this FDLE agent and another agent have given notice that if they are served with subpoenas ordering them to give the information known to them regarding alleged corruption and collusion in the case that they will tell a court about the order stifling their investigation and the alleged involvement of the alleged obstruction of justice by Bernie McCabe, state attorney for Pinellas and Pasco County. Gov. Bush could also take her into protective custody under the provisions of Florida Statutes and the state Constitution. See http://www.theempirejournal.com/greer_schiavo_articles.htm

I saw that, but Jeb could still order the national guard in to enforce it, if the DCF decided to move in. That is my point.

Jeb Bush doesn't make the call to seize Terri and place her in protective custody. This decision is made by the DCF.True enough, but considering that DCF came out with Jeb and cited the statute granting them authority to take custody, I'd be real surprised if they weren't on board with him.

I think you are right -- this latest Florida judge is just one too many. I know I live in a totally red state but people are mad that call the radio about judicial tyranny and rogue courts.
Our OK House passed a bill asking for action to save Terri -- wonder if any other legislatures have done the same. I am happy to report my State Rep sponsored the bill.

Something is really, really wrong with Judge Greer. He has blocked Terri from having the proper tests for years, and at every opportunity rules against her. I have never seen anything like this, and I have to ask does anybody have faith in the American judicial system after seeing how Greer operates?
Anybody got his email address????
