It's over in the state legislature. The US supremes will probably turn down the case. DCF's petition before Judge Greer will probably be denied. I expect that DCF will take Terri into protective custody at that point.
Regrettably, there is a chess game underway.

Well that's true but at least there are more on the Pubbie side fighting for life than against it. The only time your average Dem cares about life is if it's a terrorist or murderer's life.
I am not proud of my country today. My government is trying to murder an innocent woman, held under the guardianship of a husband, who cohabits with another woman, and he wants to kill her, and my government seems not even to care.

He's not going to be judged by man some day. Fact is that DCS can take custody. If you do not think that the gov pulls those strings you are nuts. He has done a lot, but not all...
Well, I suppose that's possible, but that hasn't prevented any of his other rulings. You may remember that he's the one who ruled that Terri should have the feeding tube removed.
An injunction from him could be appealed. No question. But it would have to be obeyed by the DCF pending that appeal. Given the overturn of all those appeals in the past, I doubt the situation would be any different.
The DCF needs to tread carefully, in order that they do not do more harm than good. Just my opinion.

why all the dallying? WHy can't DCF just take her into custody? Wht does she have to wait for Greer to deny the petition or for SCOTUS to turn down?

I think I am gonna sign off for awhile. I can't take this. So many people in charge letting this young womans life fade away. It's not right. It's wrong no matter how you slice it. No one of these people have a right to take her life based on what her husband SAID SHE SAID! I need a rest. My heart breaks like everyone else's but hate sitting here reading bad news after bad news.
I am so sick of libertarians .....
