In his press conference, Jeb said that it would not be his decision whether to take custody of Terri. Sounded like he was passing the buck to the DCF. But he seemed pretty confident that they would take custody if necessary.

I would not want to be in Jeb's shoes at this moment in time. While I would like to think he will have Terri put in protective custody, he's putting the rest of his political career on the line. I am hard pressed to think of anyone else who would make that sacrifice.

I got the impression that giving Greer the petition was a formality and they will take her into custody -- but then the person I talked to was not in Florida although she said she thought all states worked the same.
