I would not want to be in Jeb's shoes at this moment in time. While I would like to think he will have Terri put in protective custody, he's putting the rest of his political career on the line. I am hard pressed to think of anyone else who would make that sacrifice.
His career is on the line anyway. A large part of his base consists of people who would never forgive him if he did not do everything in his power to save Terri Schiavo from this murder.
That is what LEADERS do.
Add to that the original Congressional Deathocrats and the Florida 21.....
Jeb will -- I have confidence in the man who does the right thing when no one is watching. You have to remember what he went through with his own daughter and her problem -- he never gave up.

The Lord has placed you in the unique position to live out your faith. We are told that we are all called to do this daily, but few of us are ever so honored by our Lord to do it in the magnitude which you have the opportunity right now. This is not political. The Lord will ask you at your time of judgment if you did everything in your power to save an innocent’s life. What will your answer be? I have no doubt that the Lord will guide you in your actions today and in the days to come. From what I gather, you are a fine, upstanding, moral man. I have no doubt that you will show this in this case. The Lord has given you an opportunity to be a reflector of His love. I beg you to save this woman’s life and show the world the greatness of our Lord! You are in my prayers.
