On Fox News Channel, Martha McCallum just announced that Florida governor Jeb Bush will make a statement on the Terri Schiavo case at 3 PM EST.
But he's a LEGAL serial killer, so its ok.
I can't see how that would happen. DCF powers are existing law and if you check out the relevant sections of the statute (it's been posted somewhere earlier) you'll find that there are emergency provisions that fit this case like they were written for it. Rather than an act of last minute desperation this may in fact have been a calculated move to have the legislature remove themselves from the process and then act at the executive level.
One would think, by way of an IV on the spot before transportation.
The way I understood the regulations defining what DCF can do to put her in protective custody, they will not need his 'order'. I will try to link it.
I could be wrong, but that's how it read to me.

Yep, it's time for Jeb to say 'Screw the Courts'. A life is at stake here. It's not a philosophical exercise regarding the rule of law.
I was thinking of that movie myself...scary...
And of that 80%, how many would choose to die by dehydration. Hell, I get nervous if a glass of water isn't within reach. Dehydration is a terrible way to die--that's why we don't put down animals this way.
Yes, that should have raised red flags all over the place.

Thanks
Even after a court review that determined that isn't happening?
Sounds like nothing but a lawsuit.
How many people? A lot???
Hey, whatever it takes. I know I've probably prayed more in the past 48 hours than I have in total since Yom Kippur.
Michael, just dry up.
Don't forget: earlier today, W said they were looking into "executive" actions. He didn't say HIS executive actions...maybe baby brother's?
You are right,no order needed.
They are a clever lot, those Bush's. Now, onward and upward for Terri.
In your opinion, what are the reasons Greer and Michael want Terri to die?
