it means the 2-1 decision of the 11ths three judge panel stands, and only the SCOTUS can hear it now. I believe Anthony Kennedy is next in line. I hold out zero hope for the courts, at any level anywhere, on this case.

YIPPPPEEEE!!! OMG! I hope its not too late! Jeeze they sure took long enough!

Sounds like the ball is in Judge Greer's court. If Greer refuses then it sounds like DCF may move in.

DCF COULD take protective custody
BINGO, let the liberals try to discredit the social workers protecting vulnerable adults.

Attorney said the DCF can take her into custody which is what the affidavit is being filed this afternoon to do.

There is no question that they are prepared to use the DCF protective custody card in this round. WOW! This is big news.

It's all in front of Greer. I don't have a lot of hopes. I really think, for reasons of his own, he thinks Terri should die.

They have filed to take custody as new information has come forward in recent weeks. Question from ignorance: When is the last time Terri Schiavo was actually checked by a doctor, with the full battery of tests?

Is it the long cold winter that causes the craziness this time of year? Wait, its Florida.

National Guardsmen are not going to storm the hospice and shoot all the police there (if that's what it took) to take her into custody in defiance of a court order Darn.

This might be the miricle Terry needs

As if Greer would agree to anything other than Terri's death...
To: MineralMan
That just means another court date and hearing. It won't happen immediately. 6 days without food or water doesn't allow for much more time,

"and new information"
Probably the "nurse" who claims Terri said "I want to live".

DCF motion is in front of Greer, so no chance there.
Guess DCF can take custody without Greer through Executive order?

let the liberals try to discredit the social workers protecting vulnerable adults. All the judge has to do is say "not enough evidence" like they have to all the other affidavits.

let's get real here. National Guardsmen are not going to storm the hospice and shoot all the police there (if that's what it took) to take her into custody in defiance of a court order. If the force of government will not be used to stop the deliberate starvation of a disabled woman, then I deny it has any use -- or legitimacy -- whatsoever.

I don't think so. If Greer says no, then that will end that avenue. If this doctor has not personally examined Terri, I doubt that Greer will accept this.
Don't count your chickens just yet.
