On Fox News Channel, Martha McCallum just announced that Florida governor Jeb Bush will make a statement on the Terri Schiavo case at 3 PM EST.

Not necessarily. Bush will apparently file to have custody given to the Adult Protective Services. The downside of that is that it will require a court to do it. Right now, given the current state of things, I doubt that will happen.

I don't think Bush can simply order Terri taken into custody, so there will have to be a hearing.

Adult services is going to review Terri's case. A doctor has indicated that Terri may have been mis-diagnosed and that she may be semi-conscious. The doctor is a renowned neurologist.
