For legal reasons, the names of the family and the 14-year old girl that are the subject of this story have been withheld at this time.
GRANITE CITY - A Sothern Illinois woman was arrested last week (March 17) after trying to intervene on behalf of her 14-year old daughter's effort to have an abortion. The girl was allegedly taken to an abortion clinic by the mother of the man allegedly to have impregnated the 14-year old.
According to the girl's mother, her 14-year old daughter was called off from school in Madison County by a woman posing as the girl's “grandmother.” The woman took the girl from her home only minutes before the girl’s mother returned home from work.
It was later determined that the woman who had posed as the "grandmother" to the school authorities was the mother of the male who had fathered the unborn child the 14-year old girl was carrying. The age of the male has not been released.
When the parents were notified their pregnant daughter was not at school, they suspected she had been taken to the Hope Abortion Clinic in Granite City. The parents and grandfather were the only persons authorized to request school absence for the fourteen year old female.
“My husband and I rushed to the abortion clinic where we saw our daughter’s name on the roster and the time she had checked in,” the mother said. She then went into the clinic and searched a room filled with young women awaiting abortions but did not see her daughter.
She took a seat near the main desk and said, “I was told I could not prove my daughter was there so I began calling her name. A medical tech at the clinic told me , ‘It’s your daughter’s rights, it’s her body. You have no rights.’”
After continuing to call out her daughter’s name and telling her “don’t do it,” authorities were called and the mother was arrested.
The 14-year old told her mother she could hear her but when she asked employees to give her mother a message, they came back to the room and told her that her mother had left.
Angela Michaels, of Small Victories Ministry, was tipped off as to what was happending at the Hope clinic. According to Michaels, she witnessed police placing the mother’s hands behind her back, taking her into custody. As the police were putting the mother in the squad car, she was crying out, “Please, please, help me...my daughter is in there.”
Michaels said, “Exactly one hour later at 10:35 a.m., the 14-year old emerged from the clinic looking disheveled. The 14-year old told us that employees kept her in a quiet room until the procedure was performed and she was told that her mother had left.”
Employees assured this girl on her departure, “No-one will ever know you were here, we’ll bury your records.”
In the meantime, the woman who had taken the girl for the abortion was slipped out the back door of the clinic.
The police in the community in which the family lives allegedly told the girl's mom that they couldn't intervene despite her making a charge that her daughter had been raped (by statute) because the charge was stale--7 weeks after the incident. They did tell the girl's mom that, while she had no right to stop the abortion, she did have a right to go into the clinic and speak to her daughter.
The parents are expected to file charges.
Abortion is BIG bu$ine$$ jut like Ho$pice care.
I like it. But they'll probably plead ignorance, that they believed the woman to be the girl's natural mother.

Attorney General, Phill Kline, from obtaining documents from Planned Parenthood (what a distortion of the truth)Comprehensive "Health" Services and Dr. Weller (well-known late term abortionist) showing that underage girls have received abortions when these agencies should have reported child-abuse to authorities.
Pardon' my french...but WTF is going on. The "child" is 14 ???

First question I would ask is: "Did you ask for any ID?"

Exactly why the grandmother of the aborted baby was in such a rush to get the girl to the abettoir...once her grandchild's remains were flushed away, all physical evidence of rape went poof. She had her own grandchild butchered to save her son from facing criminal charges, and, in all likelihood, destroyed the pregnant girl's family in the process.
I wonder what the girl's life will be like in three or four years.
I wonder how the ACLU is planning on spinning this...I can somehow imagine them stepping in to shield the grandmother from custodial interference/kidnapping charges.
I wonder if there is a snowball's chance in hell of this story being read anywhere but on FR.
My suspicion is that the girl arranged it with the pretender.
Why is it that "choice" always seems to involve coercion on the part of the boyfriend, parents, or others?
"Where is the evidence that she was raped (statutory) seven weeks ago by a particular John Doe? No semen, no stains, no vaginal trauma, no baby, no DNA, no police report. To satisfy you, I suppose she could pick some poor schmuck, say he did it, and that guy could go to jail for 20 years, but where's the fun in that?"
HELLO! They got rid of the evidence at the clinic, and they're PROUD of it! How can you treat this so lightly? At the very least it's evidence tampering. Are you going to laugh if the girl has complications and dies? "Oh, well there's no evidence of any wrongdoing. Tee, hee, hee."
I'm really tempted to ignore the rule against personal attacks...
These past two or three weeks have left me absolutely numb. We have officially hit rock botttom and diggin has commenced...the furnace should be in sight any moment now...
I got pregnant at 15 and made several adult decisions on my own and abortion was not one of them.
As the father of a 2-year-old, I can see how the child is able to manipulate parents, sometimes one parent more than the other. If we trained our children that abortion is murder, and that God demands life-for-life as a root legal principle (Gen 9:6), they would consider something besides "their" rights and "their" body. They would consider the fact of murder.
It's amazing to me that neither the officers nor the school, not even the clinic (well, ok, maybe the clinic could care less..) seem concerned about who the 'grandma' is, how she could take a child from the school without authorization, and take the girl, with or without the girl's consent, let alone her parents', to the clinic, and rush through the procedure to be sure they get it done. Is anyone even looking for 'grandma'? Are any charges pending? Apparently the only criminal, as far as the school, clinic and police seem to care, is the girl's mom. Yikes.
Finally, the voice of reason. It took a while, but I finally saw it.
Frankly, it's becoming an embarrassment to see how cowed our citizens are.
Same with the Schiavo case. If that were my daughter, the court is not going to stop me.
What happened to our "inalienable" rights given to us by God, not by man or the government.
Of course, if we are too timid to collect those rights, we get exactly what we deserve.
It is done. America, the great country I once knew has become infected with satan's minions. These things, once thought of as impossible in the U.S., cannot be carried out without the compiance and assistance of millions.
Nobody cares.
Like a desperate third world country, life in America is cheapened to the point of no return.
