Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
We'll see, won't we?
BTW, it has been Floridians who have been suggesting a boycott. That means a lot.
http://underneaththeirrobes.blogs.com/main/2004/07/_general_commen.html More about what a hottie she is.
He wants her dead.
Good thing your mother has thought about this, I fear many people don't think it thru.
Just think of themselves, picturing diapers and such.
I too, don't want that, but feel it would be way more harmful to force my kids into watching a dehydration death, and the guilt that surely must go with it.
I have heard nothing from her, but I expect that she may still be at the hospice. 8mmMauser is there, and he wrote that he is quite impressed with all that FV has done and continues to do.
Don't EVER tell me to read anything again.
I am FULLY INFORMED.
Michael is a lying b@st@rd who's STARVING TERRI TO DEATH. He got his lawyer to get the law changed, WHEN TERRI COULD NOT SPEAK FOR HERSELF, so he could DEHYDRATE HER TO KILL HER.
I was back at the hospice tonight.
The best sign of all was held by a little girl, probably about eight or so, which said:
"I was tube fed."
I had the pleasure of talking to the wonderful nurse who was on Hannity and Colmes tonight.
I took the liberty of thanking her on behalf of thousands of people across the country for her courageous stand and her bold words. I hope no one minds...
Last I heard Terri's mom and Randall Terry said they were 1 vote shy in the FL senate of what they needed for SB2128 to pass.
I like your idea, but if Bush is as revolted by this as the rest of us, the first step must be the bully pulpit. Then shortly thereafter he can sign the executive order. Is brother Jeb on board? Where does he stand? Haven't heard much from him.
Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that You are Sovereign. If that were not so, we would always be at the mercy of men, without hope of intervention from Creator God. Continue to surround this mother's child with Your protection, for men have consigned her to death. Sustain her this night from the wellspring of Your love, refreshing her in the midst of her agony. Touch her lips with manna from heaven, that she would not succumb to the tortures decreed. Send her that one Righteous Judge who will give her justice long denied. Vindicate the love of mother and father and sister and brother ... let not this beloved family be crushed under the weight of this night's agony. Have mercy upon them, O Lord ... have mercy upon them ... and us ... in the Name of Jesus, we pray, Amen ...
If you had a ready answer you liked, why ask? If you want to argue, please go to another thread to do it.
I just don't know anymore what a good sign is in this case.
We all thought the House and senate votes were a good sign...
Who can know for sure, but my guess, from his apprearance on the Larry King Show, was hatred and revenge against the Schiavo family.
Did you ever watch the move "The Godfather"? The scene with the horse head? Along those lines.
Some people with a certain mind set, hate other people so badly, that they are willing to kill the people closest to their enemy's hearts.
I know a woman whose ex husband was so angry with her, he took his two beautiful little boys out and shot them....just to hurt her.
They do, but, strangely, why did Terri need pain meds monthly for cramping, according to one of the nurses who has given an affidavit on this? There are so many holes in this story it's shocking, isn't it?
Whom is this prayer meant for? Terri has a special place in Heaven. Somewhere between John the Babtist and Joan of Arc. She is saved.
We need to pray forgiveness for Michael Schiavo, Judge Greer, and the dozens of people whom have beared false witness. "In Jesus' Healing Name, Amen"
I've been exercising my right to vote since 1972 and voted for Nixon back then. Pat was, and continues to be, my favorite First Lady.
Since then I've never cast a ballot for judgeship. Never. It's difficult to know where they stand on issues and candidates rarely make themselves available to the voters or run a meaningful campaign. They just get re-elected again and again. I don't vote across party lines. I also don't remember voting for a RAT. If a republican candidate's view don't run parallel to mine, I usually don't cast a ballot for that office.
Issues trump the party. The party is a just a collective abstraction.
Thanks for being where we would if we could.
That is, indeed, the best sign of all. My DS was tube-fed as well.
