Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
I have been avoiding your inputs about as long as I can stand.
The nazi reference is one of the CENTRAL concerns of this issue, right next to our Christian obligations, as I interpret and live them.
That is my opinion. I just thought I'd counter yours.
Attack me if you will. It really won't matter.
Yes, they may take her into custody on the basis of neglect as well. Plus they pulled her tube on the basis she is PVS and doctor today said she most likely is not.
Your welcome...
EVERYONE SHOULD READ IT...

Go away.
I can tell you that I have always been a huge supporter of advance directives.
I just want the law followed. Even if this is one life now...the precedent is being set for the future.
That is my opinion only. Not trying to convert here.
hang on, they will leave us alone and they will go and howl like Jackals about how they attacked people
Yall want to storm the gates and start a prayer thread again?
People are afraid of the mob mentality? Over a computer? Oh, come on!!
God Bless you! You have a great week, and a great Easter Sunday! Enjoy your family...and I am VERY sincere about that.
Just saw this on another thread: (Another poster and I have tried to post this article on FR...but are unable to do so because of possible copyright violation with the source.)
BOMBSHELL
"When a top ranking agent of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) opened a criminal investigation in the case of Terri Schindler-Schiavo, he was called into his supervisors office and told to shut down the investigation not once, but twice."

I know. I guess the question to ask is...how many of us would have died from a broken heart and spirit before now?
I would not have lasted more than a year.
I read Michael was going to be at Terri's side until the end!
And a doctor never signed for her to be admitted into the hospice which is required.
Most likely Hospice will or has began to * SNOW */OVER-DOSE Terri with Morphine.
I'm very worried about her.
Have you not seen the Nazi comments? Who the heck wants to o pen themselves up to that?
As usual, your post is spot-on. Morphine, while it will dull any pain poor Terri feels, is not good news.
I am against the hate rhetoric on FR that is directed at anyone who would disagree with those who believe that the law should be ignored, the police should resign, the governor didn't do enough, it's all the Court's fault.
This case has been in and out of the news for years.
There was ample time for people to contact their legislators and tell them that they want the law changed.
In the future the spouse may NOT be the guardian. The guardian must be the parents and/or siblings of the patient.
Thank you.
The facility is currently under investigation by Medicare for $14 million because of the hospice widespread abuse of putting people there that don't fit the criteria.
Also, one of the criteria is that you have to be indigent.
How many people are indigent with over a million dollars available (at the time)?
Never forget.
