Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
Correct. My mistake; no vote yet. Sorry.
Meanwhile....a gator is terrorizing people in Miami
// the convicted killer is mentally incompetent and should not be put to death.
Terri is being put to death because she is mentally incompetent. //
Terri erred by not killing anyone.
I haven't read through lots of postings, so are you saying that the Florida Legislature is voting on Terri Schiavo's case again now?
No, the caller was talking about the abuse that got her this way and couldn't understand why Terri has had no therapy. She was saying everything that we have all been saying and Rush came out with that. I can't believe it.
When Sen. Webster said that he doesn't think this will pass in the house, isn't he basically asking that this will just go through now for terri's sake and these people do not have to worry about it becoming law?
I wish I was watching!!
Voting on whether to continue debate.
Sen. Webster acknowledged that the FL House will not pass the bill as-is. Will come back to the Senate with a revised bill that will have to be debated. May take some time to do all of this ...
This is what I am worried about as we have no time to spare....
I think the fight is more over "coequal vs one branch being superior."
BTW, your poetic prayers are exquisite!
Could you tell what they were whispering about?
They're voting!
Yes, I'm watching the gator on Fox too. (sigh) As for my feelings, nothing is more important news than Terri and what is being done to save her.
Terri ping to 2773! If anyone would like to be added to or removed from my Terri ping list, please let me know by FReepmail!
I...am...sick...of...these...ridiculous...delays! They KNOW she's dying! They KNOW there's no time!
Webster keeps saying he knows the bill is unconstitutional and the House will never pass it, yada yada yada, but it looks to be that passing an imperfect bill may be the only way to GET THAT TUBE IN NOW and get Terri some fluids. He can't read the audience, and neither can I. They're going into debates now.
And he wouldn't even count calories either!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FL senator who opposes the bill afraid of death threats she is receiving.
Wilson, opposition: This has been a very emotional time. Wants to express her opinion. Civil rights movement, blah blah blah. Many people killed or maimed for just voicing their opinions. (So let's kill Terri and get it over with because she has no civil rights.) She says she received death threats in over the phone in the wee hours of the morning. Waaaaaaaaah! It's all about me and my feelings.
I just saw that picture...disgusting!!!!!! It needs to be sent around the country.. sick sick sick~!
