Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
Ah, I wasn't sure of the timing of it. Thanks.
I think this is a most valid observation. And Terri's fight has also corrupted the medical profession.
thank you for all you are doing. What on earth is Jeb Bush thinking, THAT COWARD?!!!!!!!!!
But then, King claims to be a Christian. The world has turned upside down. We now have liberals and atheists supporting Terri's right to live and "Christian" state senators telling us she belongs in heaven and we should let her die.
I feel like I'm in a bad futuristic movie.
OK, now that you get it...please email people listed on the thread!
well there is one creative request. !!!
Amen, Lord, Amen.
Send mighty angels to bar his way from the Legislature, Lord.
Silence the enemies of Terri who draw nigh to you with their lips but do not have your commandments written in their hearts!
couldn't agree more
It seems that Terri will be the Joan of Arc to Jeb's "Dauphin." Alas, but likely
I'd rather have a root canal than listen to them!
what's most odd, is that they could finally get permission from the court(remove the feeding tube) when there is little left in the trust fund.
I stand in support of Floriduh VOter. The comments are not unwarranted and she certainly has the right to exercise her opinion as provided for in the First Amendment. The Bushes have the power to save Terri and so far, neither have done so and have violated the public trust and their oath of office.
They have to have a legal ground to step in....the DOJ said they do not see any legal ground...stop blaming them...they have been trying to help...hands are tied and that is what is so frustrating....it was said this morning that President Bush wanted to send the Fed Marshall in and take Terri out of there, but he has no legal ground to do so and even he has to have it
I called the numbers, too. Still busy.
Does anyone have their e-mails, in case we can't get through via phone?
From RightMarch.com:
Thanks to YOUR phone calls -- literally THOUSANDS of
calls, that we got to hear ALL DAY as they were ringing
OFF THE HOOK in those offices -- we believe we have at
least one, and probably two, Senators who have switched
over to our side.
Now, we just need ONE MORE state Senator to change his
or her mind and vote with us to save Terri Schiavo's life.
This is NOT a "done deal" here -- Wednesday is the LAST
DAY of the Florida legislature's session, so THIS IS IT.
So once more, we need YOUR help.
We need EVERYONE READING THIS EMAIL to call the following
Florida state Senators RIGHT AWAY, and ask them to do one
simple thing:
"I BEG YOU TO SAVE TERRI SCHIAVO'S LIFE --
PLEASE VOTE TO SAVE TERRI TODAY."
That's all we're asking you to do. Just call seven state
Senators -- or as many as you can -- and beg them to vote
to save Terri's life.
TAKE ACTION: Call these seven Senators NOW:
Anthony Hill, Sr.
850-487-5024
Gary Siplin
850-487-5190
Alex Villalobos
850-487-5130
Larcenia J. Bullard
850-487-5127
Walter Campbell, Jr.
850-487-5094
Nancy Argenziano
850-487-5017
Burt L. Saunders
850-487-5124
In addition, PLEASE call Governor Jeb Bush's office NOW at
850-488-4441, asking him to exercise the executive powers
he ALREADY HAS, and take custody of Terri Schiavo to save
her from being starved to death. We've got renowned lawyer
Larry Klayman coming in on Wednesday to meet one-on-one
with Gov. Bush's General Counsel lawyers, showing them
point-by-point exactly why the Governor DOES have those
powers right NOW. Call Gov. Bush and ask him to USE those
powers to save Terri's life.
Scott Peterson may have used the same logic to rationalize murdering his wife and unborn child. "Hey, the person I'm murdering is going to a better place, so what's the problem?"
The evidence often does not match the claim, does it? Politicians use religion as just another civic club.
..... meekie, please ping your Florida list.Okay. Copying your post here!:

I'm sorry you feel that way OhioWFan. Floriduh Voter is criticizing, rightly so, President Bush and Gov. Bush.
Talk and behind the scenes arm twisting is great; but TERRI'S DEATH IS IMMINENT.
By Executive Order, the President could sweep Terri to safety.
Gov. Bush has control over the National Guard in his state; they aren't being called.
Criticism of the Bush's does not make FV a Bush basher.
