Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
Terri is rapidly dying. If they were heard en banc in Atlanta, that would take hours. It would take hours for them to rule. They will probably rule against, but even if they ruled for, Felos would appeal to the Supreme Court. More hours and hours. She does not have that. It may take some more time for her to die, but at some point her kidneys shut down and there is no more reason to appeal for the tube. These are my reasons why I think they short-circuited to the Supreme Court. But all Courts always rule against Terri, don't they?
I agree....lets face it folks...God is our only real and true hope....cry out to Him for His help...never put faith or trust in man....you will always be let down...
Amen!
Whenever I eat or drink anything, shezza, I feel like I am sharing it with Terri...sending a bit of strength her way.
I LOVE THE IDEA OF PAPERING FLORIDA WITH LAWSUITS!!!
Wish I were a good, smart lawyer.
Well, I just got up and saw the news. Devastating! God bless Terri.
I fear that time has run out for anything to be done at this point other than an Executive order to take Terri into protectice custody, but I don't think the Bush boys have the balls to do it.
Terri has touched my life in ways I can't explain and even if she dies she will always have a place in my heart and I hope her family knows how much she has changed me!
Dear Father in Heaven, We pray for Terri and her family during this horrible time. We know you never leave us in the dark hours of our life. Please be with Terri and get her through this. Please be with Terri's family as they endure the heartache of losing their daughter if that is what happens. We also still ask you for a miracle to happen and that Terri will be saved. Thank you for reminding us of your love and mercy each day. Amen!
God Bless You, Halls. You made me cry.
Amen!
GOD BIND JAMES KING IN FLORIDA. BRING MANY HEARTS TO SIDE WITH WELDON.
FIGHT FOR TERRI AND HER LOVING FAMILY WHO HONOR YOU IN ALL THEY DO.
Hope you know that you are in our hearts, too, valleygal!
Love will get us through the toughest times. Here we are blessed with many FREEPER FRIENDS!
Did you say 15 hours on the computer???
My family is ready to throw me out of the house, LOL! They think I've used up my computer time for the next ten years!
but I don't think the Bush boys have the balls to do it.
The word from Weldon was that its is not that GWB doesn't want to do it, but he has to have LEGAL GROUNDS to do it.
Does anyone remember the FLorida Canon that states that Greer cannot be Terri's ad litem since she is not a relative??
I have seen it, read it, can't remember it!
OH! HI PHENN!!!! How are YOU!!?????
Sorry I had to come back-- sure wish I could have stayed down there with ya'll!
Amen. To Him be all the glory.
I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm heartbroken for the Schindler family. My hope is in the promise that "all things work together for good for them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose."
But my fear is that in our short-attention-span society, this abominable atrocity will soon be forgotten, replaced by Spring Break and baseball and sitcoms and "reality tv" while the judicial tyranny marches on victoriously and emboldened.
My brain hurts. I guess I really do need a cup of coffee, eh?
Amen. The Lord is our stregnth and shield. A very present help in time of trouble.
I had to leave all media behind for about an hour and a half last night while I took my dog to obedience school. I must say that once I got into what was going on in the class, I enjoyed the respite from this case that it gave me. As soon as I got home, however, I had FNC on while I monitored the posts here.
Good morning, EC!! Hope you were able to sleep a bit. Been thinking about ya.
A LIST OF BROKEN STATUTES IS POSTED at www.gatorsforterri.com
It is the appendix for the petition to recuse.
Why doesn't someone just petition the court for a swallowing study?
The Atlanta ruling was 2-1. One judge on the panel dissented. I read where it was a Clinton appointee, and that the majority were another Clinton appointee and a Bush41 appointee. Only saying what I read about who appointed them, but it is true that one judge dissented. The other three, Whittemore and the others, should be impeached. But as the Supreme Court will probably agree with them, what are the chances of that?

My hope is in the promise that "all things work together for good for them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose."
Thank you for those words, shezza.
Amen, LegalEagle61!
You posted to Shezza, but you quoted me and I think you meant your post for me. But I don't know for sure...
THANKS!!! I will look there...
I didn't sleep well, but I am holding up okay....
Anyone up for a story about something my 6 yr old daughter did today?
Made me laugh-- I needed the laugh...
