Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
There are a lot of others this is happening to, just no family fight about it.
Something in here about the constitutionality of the new Act of Congress re. Terri - that the question of constitutionality is not an issue. Maybe that's a good thing.
I absolutely agree!!! Very well written letter.
My post # 1693 explains why I think the Bush brothers will not act by sending in an Executive-powered force...the huge bugaboo is violence in the streets, mayhem, injury and death, in my view.

The Bush Brothers aren't going to do it. For many reasons!
But it can't hurt to try and convince them, there are so few options left.
I don't understand it either. Terri wasn't recieving extraordinary means yet judges can issue a death sentence. If you or I locked our spouse away for 15 years and then starving them we'd be thrown in jail, but apparently judges are immune and can do whatever they wish.
Our founding fathers are turning in their graves at what this system of justice has become
I can't believe I've woke up to this!
Florida created this problem and they need to fix it. It never would have come to this if not for our flaky laws and fake judge.

What did they say President Bush is going to Baylor to do today? Warn Mexican citizens not to come to America or risk being starved to death?
No they are not. And there is the reason why in my post #1693, in my view. It is violence, mayhem, injury and death in the streets, which would surely result, if they attempt it in Pinellas Park. Nor would it save Terri. The violence would become the scandal, and the Feds who might get through to Terri after all the bloodshed would have kill the guards in her room, too. Hospice workers, mostly women, killed in the crossfire. Think of it. Think, think, think. Not even a nearby hospital would take Terri to reinsert the tube. Also, I will bet you the Schindlers have said through their attorney to the Feds that they absolutely do not want that, even if Terri dies.
