Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
Amen! I pray for everyone's strength and comfort Lord, during this difficult trial. Please help us to remember that YOU are in control of this situation when we feel hopeless and angry. Please comfort Terri so she doesn't suffer, and comfort her family in their time of distress. Please help us all pull together as one body in Christ, to support and uplift one another.
Romans 12:9-12
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
I have studied bible prophecy and when I see stuff like this happening in our country and how its been going to hell in a handbasket, I can only think it is because we are super close to the end times...the devil is more rampant than ever...
We see things through a glass, darkly.
Someone else sees things as they are and will reward....and repay...accordingly.
Mr Gibbs' reward may not be of this world.
I agree, and you aren't alone.
Good night DJ, sleep well.
So 5 more judges are needed?
Sullen resignation is easily mistaken for simmering rage.
Ok, I read the opinion...
In a nutshell....
Greer did everything right. Terri has had all the due process in the world. She didn't need a lawyer because her parents had a lawyer. Greer can be a guardian if he wants to be...Florida law....and he wasn't anyway. All the guardians loved Michael. He's the spouse, deal with it.
Religeous freedom? LOL It isn't the government denying her this freedom...it's Michael and the Hospice! So it doesn't count.
Tears are ruining my keyboard. Terri never had a chance...none!

A majority rule....we need to see the Court opinion on this ruling...I am going to go search
Yes, feeling numb and getting very blurry eyed. My mind is just...blank.
>> Terri never had a chance...none!
None of us do, now.

So once again, old record used, no denovo review...this is appauling...she was supposed to get a denovo hearing...and all they are doing is looking over the old case, not giving her a new....
I have trouble saying good night here, too. :)
Al Sharpton was in Terri's corner on Hardball tonight. Also a shocker.
Hoping with you, Legal Eagle and praying for miracle this Passion week.

This is the judicial equivalent of p*ssing out territory. They don't care about Terri (or us, for that matter). They are protecting their turf.
What's a Wampus cat?
