wrong-is-right-right-is-wrong alert.

This sums up the general direction of our country at this time ... Good is being punished and evil is flourishing ... Except, we have recourse to a Higher Power and praying people are seeking that recourse as never before! Hosanna!

I'd like to see this one on a website to our good friends, the ACLU:

"Dear ACLU:

Are prisoners on death row in each of the 50 United States ever denied food and water for periods, in order to punish them for anything?

If not, why is that? What are the legal protections to prevent such witholding of food and water."

Several months ago a guy who beat up a puppy was sentenced to 18 months or so in prison. For beating up a stinkin puppy! People starve a human and nothing happens to them.

"I'm wondering how we got to the point where trying to give someone who is thirsty a drink is a crime."

Wasn't it 2000 years ago this week that Christ's followers tried giving him water on the way to Calvary and we're violently punished by the Roman soldiers/police for attempting the same?

"They should given her a lethal injection, once they decided that she must die because Michael wants her to."

I would rather be hung outside then starved to death.

"I am shaking my head in disbelief. How did a woman that old and that size get past those deputies to begin with?"

Deep, philospohical insight from another cheerleader for dehydration.

but somebody might think about bringing a parakeet or rabbit in a cage to that site, and stay there 24/7, and publicly deny it food

The PeTArds would be all over you like stink on a hippie.

I agree that I wouldn't advocate doing that to an animal....

BUT

It would be interesting to see the media's (let alone PETA's) reaction if someone did that.

The fact that there is also an injunction against anyone even trying to give her food or water by mouth is amazing to me. Why can't someone try to see if she can swallow it? Are they worried that she might, heaven forbid, choke to death? No, much better to let her suffer for days on end.

Bless her heart. She cares for our little sister, Theresa Marie Schiavo, who is being killed by the state.

Except that by arresting her they are helping Schiavo starve. They should be strong enough to go against the grain for the sake of a human life.

Isaiah 59:14-15 (JPS-DNR)
14 And justice is turned away backward, and righteousness standeth afar off; for truth hath stumbled in the broad place, and uprightness cannot enter.
15 And truth is lacking, and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey. And YHWH saw it, and it displeased Him that there was no justice;

Michael's a stooge of the system that allows this. he couldn't if it didn't.

According to one of Terri's nurses, last name Iyer, he once visited Terri, closed the door for 20 minutes. After he left, they found Terri sweating profusely and with low blood sugar. In the trash was a hypodermic syringe that could have been used to administer insulin. He tried other ways. Then he found kindred (evil) spirits in the legal system.

There are cops in Terri's room. Visitors are strip-searched and allowed to take nothing into her room with them.

Why don't we get Polar Spring water or one of those bottled water companies to deliver an entire truckload of water to her room! Coordinate this with the volunteers to carry bottles and positive media coverage for a run on the hospice.

Once you reach the point of no further progress to get to Terri, open and dump the bottles on law enforcement while they pull you out.

Lana Jacobs would in no way consider herself Conservative. She is very consistently Pro-Life, Anti-war, Anti-Death Penalty, Anti-Abortion. She has a disabled grown daughter. She runs St. Francis House for homeless men in Columbia, MO. One may not agree with all of her politics, but one must always respect her for standing up for her beliefs. Her husband Steve has served time in prison for tresspass at missle silo locations & military bases during anti-war rallies.
