Warning that Terri Schiavo is "fading quickly," her parents begged a federal appeals court Tuesday to order the severely brain-damaged woman's feeding tube reinserted while they pursue claims that her rights are being violated.
Poor parents, they still dind't realise they have no chance
At the least, allow ice to be placed on her tongue. That will provide immediate relief. Some semblance of mercy should be shown.
I'm with them.
If I were a nurse I would be fired and probably jailed, because I would be giving her water and feeding her. She does not drool, therefore she swallows.
Where are the groups representing disabled people? Don't they realize that they're next?
You bring up an interesting legal question. If you were a nurse, and you tried to feed her against court orders, and she choked to death, would you be liable?
Probably so.
I called the 11th Circuit. I told them that there are reports that Terri is fading.
I asked if they could please do something.
The gentleman on the phone (and gentleman he truly was), told me that it is before the court as we speak.
It is an e-mail from Cheryl Ford as of 2:00 pm:
I HAVE JUST FINISHED A CONVERSATION WITH A NURSE NAMED NORA. NORA IS A NURSE WHO HAS WORKED WITH TERRI AT HOSPICE. NORA AND I SPOKE FOR A LONG TIME. SHE IS A NURSE WHO HAS COME FORWARD FROM WOODSIDE HOSPICE AND HAS TOLD ME SHE IS APPALLED THAT THEY ARE DOING THIS TO TERRI. SHE TOLD ME TERRI LAUGHS WHEN SHE HAS TOLD HER JOKES.
YESTERDAY, NORA WAS TOLD BY THE AGENCY SHE WORKS FOR, THAT WOODSIDE HOSPICE DID NOT WANT HER BACK WORKING AT THE FACILITY. NORA HAS BEEN WORKING THERE FOR TWO YEARS AS AN AGENCY NURSE. NORA HAD DISAGREED WITH THE STAFF ON SUNDAY WITH REGARD TO WHAT THEY WERE DOING TO TERRI. YESTERDAY, AT 3:30 PM SHE RECEIVED A CALL FROM HER AGENCY SAYING WOODSIDE HOSPICE DID NOT WANT HER BACK.
NORA WILL BE ON HANNITY ON RADIO TODAY AT 2:00PM ET AND ON HANNITY TONIGHT AT 9:00PM ET WITH HER STORY.
I COMMEND THE NURSES IN MY PROFESSION FOR COMING FORWARD LIKE NORA JUST DID.
PLEASE WATCH YOUR EMAILS AND THE NEWS FOR FURTHER UPDATES.
CHERYL
and do we kill criminals based on 3 out of 5?
use your EXECUTIVE POWER to take this woman into protective custody and give her 60 days of THERAPY....
STARTING with SWALLOWING THERAPY. There is nothing 'experimental' about it. She ALREADY CAN swallow.
The therapy will be deemed an Easter miracle, and will prove you to be a saint and humanitarian.

thanks for your post and your call!
I am getting ready to switch on Sean's show now.
Clinton had the liberal media behind him and his actions. Just like the demoDeathPushingRats and Michael Schiavo have now.
Those who are to blame are those who have fought to murder Terri. IE Michael Schiavo, judge Greer and the demoDeathPushingRats.
Not with the plea they have in front of the federal court now. Their lawyer has made a tragic blunder. I only hope this gets fixed in time.
Sure.
The Republicans that have risked their political futures and exercised their constitutional right to move Jurisdiction to give Terri a second chance for life are at fault.
Not the Judiciary. Not Michael. Not the Liberals. Not the pro-Death culture embraced by a majority of Americans. Not the Devil himself. No, let's blame Republicans and while we're at it let's blame God.
That statement is as undeserving of respect as those that contend starvation is humane, as those that contend their are guiltless in this woman's death because the means of her death was not lethal injection.
Well good, but I still think the 11th will do nothing!
The "right to life" movement has embraced Terri Schindler-Schiavo as a cause to prove "sanctity of life." The "right to die" movement argues that people in guardianship should have no protection against private family decisions to kill them. Yet the life-and-death issues surrounding Terri Schindler-Schiavo are first and foremost disability rights issues -- issues which affect tens of thousands of people with disabilities who, like Ms. Schindler-Schiavo, cannot currently articulate their views and so must rely on others as substitute decision-makers.
That's why 26 national disability rights organizations have adopted a position in support of Terri Schiavo's right to continue to receive food and water.
Time Is Running Out for Terri Schiavo Yet Again
The case also is turning a spotlight on legal starvation. The non-voluntary and involuntary starvation and dehydration of people with disabilities is a more prevalent problem than most people realize, notes a press release from Not Dead Yet, which opposes most euthanasia and promotes a focus on the value of the lives of those with severe disabilities.
Share that phone number with me, ok? I'd like to call down there as well.
