She needed her belly button feeding tube to take her meds. She would crush them and mix them with Ensure and just pour it in the belly button tube. She was able to communicate with her laptop until the last night when hypoxia disoriented her to the point she couldn't key and her sight got blurred. She died that night. She initially didn't want a feeding tube either until her doctor arranged for her to meet others with them. Very normal people who were very active. It gave her two more years to get to know her grandaughter. She did stay with her demand for no ventilator to assist her breathing. So in the end she just died from hypoxia/lack of oxygen, very bravely, with dignity, and in her own home.
I heard that. Reality is the COMPLETE opposite!! THAT caller is DELUSIONAL!!!!!!!
And, exactly how and why was the good Dr discredited?
Please explain.
1. Is her husband an adulterer?
2. If she lived and could speak is there the possibility to implicate her husband in attempted murder?
3. Does Michael S. have anything to gain if Terri dies?
4. Does Michael S. have anything to lose if Terri lives?
5. What is the definition of "for better or worse..."
6. If Terri dies does this make America a better country?
That is very interesting stuff, Maria. Thanks for posting it. So it appears that Michael and Felos had Teri transferred inappropriately to a hospice facility so that Medicaid would pay for her care. That must have saved Michael quite a bit.
Terri HARDLY looks comatose in THAT pic.
Same here and the same for CT. They missed my wifes acoustic neuroma three times. She knew something was wrong and we kept going back for different opinions.
A benign tumor the size of a tomatoe on her acoustic nerve at the brain stem and 13 hours of surgey later proved my wife knows herself better than the Doctors do.
But the surgeons at Yale were top rate.
Thank you---I am not usually so eager to show my ignorance on FR--but Terri Schiavo's case is do DARN important--and I just couldn't get the thought out of my head---
Are you ready, here is another possible idiot thought--I think that the fact that MS HASN'T taken the offers of millions of dollars to divorce Terri isn't because he is afraid of "looking bad", I think it is because he is afraid that she will someday be able to communicate enough to implicate him in trying to murder her---
But the nurse did not tell the court that insulin story. She only said it was medically possible that Schiavo had done that but she didn't know for sure.
If she is telling the truth I wish she had stated what she said on tv today in her affidavit. It does throw her credibility in doubt for me and further, I'd like to know what reasons she was given for why she was discharged.
Thanks I appreciate that link. And, I really am I on your side. I was really excited when I heard this guy on Hannity yesterday, and I spent the rest of the day telling a bunch of people about it. People who didn't necessarily share my outrage at the starving of Mrs. Schiavo. Well, you can imagine when I read some of the stuff about him on FR this morning I felt like a horse's a**.
Where are your links for the info you spew?
I was a little inclined to give no credit to the nurse's affidavit.
After hearing what Rush played from Fox, I have completely changed my mind.
She is risking law suit and ruin by stating it on TV.
Not sure if you heard this but, lastnight WABC Radio news (with Petah Jenninngs) played an audio of Terri that was recorded and released by her family. It was the sound of her moaning and gurgling, obviously in pain and dying of thirst. It was awful but probably a good thing that the family released it because you couldnt help but hear that she was in pain.
Not sure who the reporter was but - he added to the report by quoting some doctor who said that "any sounds eminating from Terri are purely involuntary". Yea - sure - she just happened to start moaning after the feed tube gets removed? I dont think so. One final observation - Petah sounded pretty concerned - not about Terri but - that they put this on the air without his knowledge and the effect it could have. I havent heard it since, on TV or the radio but - it was pretty powerful.
She wasn't or else she would have never won money. Only after did she become comatose like. Go figure, in FL that a-okay.
Could be...but Michael always look so primp!
....unless Michael found the Madison look....after the malpractice funds rolled in!
Terri's plight will make the world a better place. In the end, that will be her gift to us.
What I find interesting is that it's the dems who constantly refer to repubs as Nazi's - but this action against Terri (which the dems are supporting) is exactly what the Nazi's did TO DISABLED PEOPLE IN GERMANY.
Terri is not comatose - she's just disabled.
It was King Solomon (1 Kings 3:16)
Let us continue to pray, and make those calls to the senators in FL.
"I'm not sure we can get it done here in Florida," Martinez quoted (Gov.) Bush as saying just after a new Schiavo measure stalled in the Florida Legislature. "Do whatever you can federally."
It seems the Governor of the State has found no relief and lost confidence in the Legislature and Judiciary and has called in the Feds. It can't now be said that the Feds have no business there.
The Executive Branch wields the authority of enforcement, security and investigation, Congressional investigations aside. Congress should step aside and ask the President to handle this.
Time for Federal Marshals and agents in black shiny FBI shoes.
