Thanks for the links
Oh what a liar that person is. That is not a used feeding tube. I'm sure he works for a medical supply or something.
Folks, we are seeing the bottom of the barrel and it disgusting.
But the good news is the truth is getting out.
Good idea, will do!!! Thank you.
I just charged $40 of faxes on my credit card through efax. sheesh I should just go out and buy a machine to have on hand for this kind of emergency.
Thanks for that, polly. My sentiments, as well. You beat me to it.
I emailed Grisham that one day that he had Kate Adamson on - I suggested he get Rus Cooper Dowda on as well. Kate's story is similar except that her hubby was pleading for her life against the doctors' will. In Cooper-dowda's case her hubby WAS one of the doctors.
Btw he wrote back right away - very nice man.
or buy a fax modem for your pc, wish I had one
It already got faxed, thanks.
If you go to this page http://www.aarp.org/states/ and click on your state people can also contact their state AARP office. Email addy will be in the left hand columm.Maybe the state offices should hear from us to!
Email the Wisconsin State Office about local Wisconsin issues at wistate@aarp.org.
sign up for an efax account to sign up to fax through the web. I warn you though it's between 50 cents and $2 per fax depending on the number of pages and time the service has to stay connected to send your fax. They basically relay your email to their fax system and fax for you. And if someone sends a fax back to the number they designate for you, it goes to your email.
Oops, Meant to post this one not the WI e-mail.
Email the Florida State Office about local Florida issues at flaarp@aarp.org.
I already faxed it to him.
btw if you really want him to see it you have to get his 'higher priority' email through subbing to his 24/7 thing but there's still no guarantee. fax is a better idea.
Has everyone seen this?

IN the article it stays that the Shindlers have not filed an appeal as of 1pm. So, does this mean they have given up? They said the court was notified that they would appeal, but no one has heard anything from Gibbs, or the Shindlers today about anything.
I have this sad feeling that they are just to worn out and are not going to continue. They have done everything they can. I surely hope the appeal will be filed, but it should have already. This is a bad sign. Foxnews said a while ago that the Shindlers were at home today praying. I believe at this time they may just be turning to their faith rather than the courts since the courts keep letting them down.
Man, how sad!

I was not able to determine if any of this happened in the Schiavo case. Do you know if any did?
This was supposed to be a DE NOVO hearing. The former case decisions and all the facts gathered were NOT SUPPOSED to be considered. I would think that would mean legally, Terri's feeding tube would have to be re-inserted. I hope the 11th circuit overturns the previous Judges decision, based on that and other arguments.
Then the U.S. Congress is going to have to pass some more legislation. It is needed anyway. If Terri lives she will never get a FAIR Trial from THAT MAN, Judge Whittemore.
In situations like Terri's, the assumption should be for LIFE.
