US House of Rep. in an Extraordinary Sunday night Session [Schiavo] (Bush Signs Schiavo bill)

Posted on 03/20/2005 6:03:40 PM PST by FoxPro

This is an unprecedented session. The Congress is meeting to save one persons life (in real time).

The only reason the Democrats are agreeing to this is that they don’t want to be known as the party that killed Terri.

This is American history happening before your eyes.

And WERE YOU ecstatic about the right to kill the unborn?

No, no I wasn't ecstastic. I am against abortion except for the life of the mother, rape, or incest. However, then you work to get the law overthrown, legally. And, IMO, great strides have been made in changing public opinion against abortion. The only other option for changing Roe vs. Wade would be, extralegally, which seems to be what you might advocate, overthrowing the judiciary in some fashion. That's not what's going to happen, but if it does someday, I hope I'm long gone. If you are young, you can pick up the pieces left of the country.

Even before the judge considers success on the merits, as an element to get a preliminary injunction, the court should grant a temporary injunction to re-insert the tube while it is deliberating whether to grant a preliminary injunction.

GWB signed it! It is LAW!

It means that the federal district court in Florida can hear a lawsuit put into court by Terri! This means a NEW suit on her behalf! District court hears cases and I don't think will be looking at the prior litigation except to see that it violated her constitutioanl rights.

Hi Quix,

"She" threatened me on another post and mod removed her posts.
Flaglady is presumed to be a scientologist who wants terri to die and goes moonbat nuts at anyone who disagrees.>>>>

Already the largest property owner downtown, the church next year will open its $50-million Flag Building, sitting on a full city block across from the church's Clearwater icon, the Fort Harrison Hotel.

About 6,850 Scientology followers have moved to the Clearwater area, joining the church's 1,400 uniformed employees. It's a community that has grown 20 percent per year in the past decade, according to church tallies.

Business expansion. New housing. Population growth. Scientologists have emerged as leading stakeholders in a tired downtown.

After 28 years, Scientologists are on the brink of creating what amounts to a Scientology city in Clearwater's downtown core.

People all over America have feeding tubes, not to mention oxygen tubes, dialysis tubing, etc and these congressman who voted for the bill know it.

The D for death congressmen just do not care. The only thing they are clinging to is the power of activist judges.

she is in hospice, if you go into hospice means you are not comming out alive. Hospice is for the soon to be dead.

You need to read more facts before you start posting your drivel.

barney frank is trying to protect the court as the final arbiter. If the legislature learns they can undo the acts of the courts then the homo-lobby he represents will never be able to impose acceptence of his chosen lifestyle. We already have citizens who have learned this.

Now we have legislators learned not only can then undo judges, the can undo judges FAST!
