Official After-Action Thread: March 19 Fayetteville, NC Support Our Troops Rally
Freepers, lurkers and assorted patriots ^ | March 19, 2005 | Constitution Day

Posted on 03/19/2005 5:03:49 PM PST by Constitution Day

Today we met in Fayetteville, NC to Freep a motley rabble of socialists, anarchists, Code Pink-os, and other throwbacks to the 60's! As usual, we were well outnumbered by their hordes of college students, aging hippies and other bused-in protestors, but we held our own as always.

Please post any reports and observations on this thread only.

"Medea Benjamin and Gael Murphy slithered out from the swamps for what I'm sure they had planned to be a triumphal welcome at the "peace" march, but were quickly and very loudly called out as traitors and murderers, much to their dismay."

BWAHAHAHAHA...Left's eatin' its own...

"And on Sunday BufordP and BillF tried to teach me about turn signals. Keep 'em guessing, I always say."

Damned women drivers...LOL!!

FReegards...MUD

Thanks for your hard work cf_river_rat.

I'll be sending a $25 card when I get home next week.

Let's go FReepers! The Fayetteville LEOs were great to work with and they busted their asses for us when the commies tries to infiltrate our side of the street. $25 is cheap, considering.

It appears that we captured our good friend Robert Redford...er...Gael Murphy in this photo next to an enthusiastic "peaceworker" promoting his/her sexuality.

I hope it's not the guys I invited to have some items. They certianly looked like they were on the other side, but they polite, though uninformed.

I wish I could tell you. I dealt with only the one. You would think before someone went to a rally they would have at least a general idea why they were there.

These aren't complaints of mine, so I hope no one takes anything I've said the wrong way.

Complaints of mine look something like this:

I saw a picture of you when you picketed up the street from the park. You were holding a sign and giving a one-fingered salute while being interviewed. Very talented.

I didn't see it happen but was there right after it had happened. That was totally uncalled for. I would almost swear I saw this goon the other day at work (Sam's).

Thanks for the comments on the signs. It was quite simple actually. I do graphics for local military contractor. My boss was kind enough to donate the materials.

Doctor Raoul, your speech was fantastic. I read a lot about the issues that we were there for and you laid it all out in clear, concise truth.

BufordP, the two books that I was trying to tell you about were:

"Treachery", by Bill Gertz
and,
"An End To Evil", by David Frum and Richard Perle

I just sent you an email thanking you for making the long drive down here. Thank you again then. We certainly appreciate what you did. Both Saturday and all those years ago in Nam.

I presume that you mean the index finger, "dyed" in solidarity with the voters of Iraq and Afghanistan? :-)

We have an operative within Medea's circle of power.

Could it be this womyn? (btw I cannot make out the sign above her head. It appears to read "raw ton"...)

Unlike the "Peace Activists", FReepers always pick up their trash after a FReep.

Thanks for the info!

So many books, so much information, so little time.
