I never would have thought a judge could ignore a Congressional subpoena or that a US attorney could decide not to uphold the law regarding a Congressional subpoena. I guess they get to pick and choose which subpoenas they get to enforce.

Harkin is a lying bastard.
He's blaming the delay on the House, when the Senate passed its half-assed bill after most House memebrs already left, without telling the House beforehand that its version differed from that of the House.
It's only the House bill that protects Terri's right with certainty, and that bill had to be compromised to make the deal with a Senate populated with scum like Harkin.

Not much. The Senate had to come in in order for the house to convene on Sun. @1pm then the Senate comes back @ 2pm.

The popular Harkin said that the district judge (federal) in St. Petersburg or Tampa does NOT have to order the reinsertion of the tube but may do so. This may be another dead end after all.
