I never would have thought a judge could ignore a Congressional subpoena or that a US attorney could decide not to uphold the law regarding a Congressional subpoena. I guess they get to pick and choose which subpoenas they get to enforce.

I wasn't speaking of Congressional subpoenas. I'm talking about about the legislation Congress will pass Sunday or Monday which will give the Federal Court jurisdiction to consider whether killing Terri is constitutional.

Once a federal judge has that jurisdiction, he would have to be senile not to issue a temporary order to re-insert the feeding tube, because the court must preserve the status quo, i.e., must stop the killing while considereing whether killing Terri is constitutional.
