EMK probably has forgotten that he had a retarded sister nearly all of his life. I bet he virtually NEVER visited her!

When did the Constitution actually come into relevance in US lawmaking recently?

Just go ask SCOTUS about it. You know..like finding that the Constitution somehow conveys the right for teen killers to be spared the death penalty, because it's "cruel".

Nosiree. What's REALLY in the Constitution hasn't come into consideration in US lawmaking for the past 3 decades (beginning with Roe). Lawmaking is now all about politics - whether it benefits our side or not.

Just bought the judicial expose "Men in Black" today. Should be a good read, but likely won't expose anything new that we don't complain about regularly here on FR.

are you sure? I thought Delay said there was bipartisan support for this. Only Kennedy made a bonehead statement. Felos only appealed to Hitlary, Kerry and Keneddy.

We lay our plans so carefully to map out our own destinies. I've seen enough in life that they seldom work according to plan. Life has strange twists and turns.

With nourishment and hydration, Terri could outlive the judge, husband, and attorney, all dying natural deaths. I'm not predicting that, but I've seen to much unexpected to know that we must expect the unexpected we simply lacked the foreknowledge to plan for.

Life is strange indeed.

I have always observed that abortion backers have been born and euthanasia advocates are alive and in good health!

But they are used for many other reasons that for those in the situation that Terri is in.

They are always used for feeding. Always.

And I had the number wrong - it was 850,000 people using them in this country.

I'VE NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THE DISABLED. NEVER. I'm talking about a woman who is legally brain dead.

Who?

Because years ago the doctors inserted METAL probes in her brain to be able to stimulate it and an MRI would pull them out and do her in for sure.

Yes -- but the doctor who inserted those probes told Michael Schiavo YEARS AGO that he should have them REMOVED.

That is why I am here.

If it were a back patting party I would stay off the forum. I believe some otherwise good folks have been misled, and some have honest opinions about the legitamacyof passive euthanasia.

My personal take has alway been that it is a private matter. The Feds have no dog in this fight, and the parents have engaged in tactics that should be prosecuted, to the fullest.

They used the fact that MS would not violate her privacy and have filled the public discourse with distortions for the purpose of effect.

Very sad.

If the Feds get into this, we will have rigid rules that serve no one and hurt many.

This needs to end now.
