Wolfson's report is based on court files, depositions, medical records and interviews with everyone involved.
That said, I begin with the most explosive allegation:
Did Michael try to kill Terri?
Wolfson laughs. "No!"
-----
Wolfson's report states that in the four years after her collapse, Michael "had insistently held to the premise that Theresa could recover and the evidence is incontrovertible that he gave his heart and soul to her treatment and care . . . In late autumn of 1990, following months of therapy and testing and formal diagnoses of persistent vegetative state with no evidence of improvement, Michael took Theresa to California, where she received an experimental thalamic stimulator implant in her brain. Michael remained in California caring for Theresa during a period of several months."
Says Wolfson now: "Michael was adoring of her. One nursing home complained he was hostile and abusive of the staff in championing her care. She was immaculately kept. In 13 years, she never had one bedsore."

No, it was rude.
I taped CNN last night because we were out and heard about the fight but it went right over my head that the father testified at the first trial that he was angry he didn't get money.
That puts an entirely different perspective on this, if it's true. And given the court testimony about the gruesome lengths they will go to to keep poor Terri alive, it's not about love, imo. I'd hate to think you were right about this (not because we sparked once before over another matter, btw), but because I just don't want to think parents would stoop to this.
And btw, the assumption that because one hasn't been participating in these appalling spectacles called threads on this topic does not mean one is uninformed.
LOL!
I'd ripping up that living will right now.
I don't think she has a guardian ad litem now that Dr. Jay Wolfson was discharged on Dec. 17, 2003 after completing his report to Judge Greer. Maybe someone knows is another one has been appointed
This is about buying time. I am not sure why providing access to the federal courts would be unconsitutional.
Many prayers for poor, poor Mr. and Mrs. Schindler. How sad.
Someone should.
This case is indeed all about the Schindlers.
They want everything their way or no way. Selfish. They are not thinking of Terri, only winning against Michael.
Schindlers "Just want to take Terri home." Impossible! She would die in a few days. She has to remain in the hospice, for cryin' out loud.
Congress manages to muck everything up. Personally, I'm typically pretty happy when they are out of session :-)
No, THERE's the rub. Did you see my post #211?
If you don't agree, I think you have to go to hell. Not sure about that, but I think so.
Apparently, they thought they were. Of course, the courts didn't. Are you surprised?
Well that could be right. I don't know once the guardian ad litem made his report that his services were required any more.
In our case, we had the guardian make a recommendation and then he went away.
Greed...Money is the root of evil.
Something that I have wondered about.
The story from the fathers side is that it was about care. He wanted to return her to some California outfit that MS thought was useless and unnecessarily debilitating to Terry.
They used massage therapy or some such, and on Larry King he said it was torture to view what they were doing to her.IIRC.
This was when they both received the bad news that Terry was not going to recover. One party decided that they would not accept this fact, but the motives seem a bit thin.
I don't know how the money affected these decisions. Not really something that can be surmised or divined from behavior in this case.
As I've said many times, FR is a wonderful place with wonderful posters. I don't like the fact that some folks here give other forums the excuse to bash us as lunatics just because of the actions of a very small but very vocal minority. :)
This is typical leftist crime and criminals cover up and cheesy hypocrisy. Notwithstanding the lie of care by husband, this act of saying I cared, I failed, and no one else should try lesr it makes me look bad is the hopeless state of liberals. Giving up is one thing, losing hope is worse, to make it right falsely is to use previous good deeds hypocriticaly.
More cover up of communists killing the weak and religious.
The dolphin doctor?
Oh for God's sake. He abandoned her because he, like many others, beleive she is already dead. It's her body that's still around. He was a young man. I don't know any woman that would expect the man they love to sit by their bedside for 30 years while they were in a vegitative state. If they did, they didn't deserve such a man. You don't think Terri would have wanted Michael to go on and have a wonderful life? Are you saying that you know she was that selfish? Or are you that selfish?
Frankly, after all the Schindlers have been through and everthing they've suffered, I hope they rather than Michael cash in on it. It won't bring their daughter back. But they can do a lot of good for other's with THAT money.
