Wolfson's report is based on court files, depositions, medical records and interviews with everyone involved.
That said, I begin with the most explosive allegation:
Did Michael try to kill Terri?
Wolfson laughs. "No!"
-----
Wolfson's report states that in the four years after her collapse, Michael "had insistently held to the premise that Theresa could recover and the evidence is incontrovertible that he gave his heart and soul to her treatment and care . . . In late autumn of 1990, following months of therapy and testing and formal diagnoses of persistent vegetative state with no evidence of improvement, Michael took Theresa to California, where she received an experimental thalamic stimulator implant in her brain. Michael remained in California caring for Theresa during a period of several months."
Says Wolfson now: "Michael was adoring of her. One nursing home complained he was hostile and abusive of the staff in championing her care. She was immaculately kept. In 13 years, she never had one bedsore."

Terri had CAT scans. I don't know about an MRI. However, she had a court appointed guardian who made sure she got the tests he thought were appropriate.
That's what Michael said on Larry King, I believe. I'll see if I can get the transcript. That's when he said the sparks began. Has anyone ever done a background check into the Schindlers?
Sorry. I did miss that when you mentioned it. I'm surprised I didn't remember that, but my memory is pretty hazy at best.
Parents aren't entitled to that money.
Yeah, they missed the low potassium indicator, and it caused delays in getting her stabilized, which could be said to be the cause of the brain damages from lack of O2.
I just heard Fox announce the special session re Schiavo.
I am in the same position you are. I can see the merit of both sides of the issue. There are certain tests I'd like to see done as it seems there are murky areas of what she is and is not capable of.
You are aware aren't you, that statements like this make you and others like you look quite insane?
For you outsiders who are reading Free Republic, this does not reflect the state of mind of the majority of FReepers.
Actually the enemy is Satan... the willing vehicles of his work on earth just happen to be MS, Greer, and Felos....
If she's not PVS, then I will be easily able to take a position. Nothing I've read to date suggests she isn't. It's a tragic case.
There is absolutely NO constitutional reason for the House today; whatever they pass, the USSC will strike it down.
To me, this is a case of be careful what you ask for; in their haste, and by the end of the day, Congress might have passed a law that affects each and every one of us.
KING: OK, the break with the family.
SCHIAVO: Her father and mother came into the room. And they closed the door. And they asked the big question, How much money am I going to get? And I told them I wasn't going to get any money.
KING: Out of the malpractice?
SCHIAVO: Out of the malpractice suit. Then he argued with me for a little while. And then he pointed at Terri in the wheelchair and says, How much am I going to get from her money?
And I said, you have to go talk to the courts about that.
KING: She got money, too?
SCHIAVO: Yes, Terri got money.
KING: OK.
FELOS: Terri got the bulk of the money.
KING: OK, which was used for her rehab and for her medical expenses?
FELOS: Medical expenses.
SCHIAVO: From there, it blew up. He wanted to go out in the hall and have a fist fight. It was crazy. It was ludicrous.
KING: Did this shock you?
SCHIAVO: No, because he's always wanted the money. He always wanted money out of this. He even testified in the first trial that he was angry that he didn't get any money.
KING: And what about her mom?
SCHIAVO: Her mom kind of just stood between us. She yelled at me not to do this, don't do this. They stormed out of the nursing home. And from then, they tried to sue me numerous times to have me removed as guardian. And from then, they really basically didn't have any care with Terri. They hardly showed up to see Terri. Their main concern to me was the father was angry because he didn't get any money.
KING: So what do you make of what they say about you? I mean, are you shocked?
SCHIAVO: No. I wouldn't expect any less from Mr. Schindler.
No, my comment is factual. MarMema has made hundreds of posts based on research that she dug up, complete with links. She is not one of the many, many posters who has an uninformed opinion.

Thanks for that information. I hadn't quite understood what the doctors did wrong because when you read the court transcripts it all a gobbley gook. (At least to me)
OFGS, don't say that........there'll be yet another thread going up at LP now! :-)
Exactly.
It appears not clear-cut at this time, to me.
Well, always err or the side of life, or the side that would seek to protect it.
If one of the posters here could produce the MRI and PET scans that would collaborate the Terri's original diagnosis of PVs, then this exercise would be moot.
OH, IT WASN'T DONE?
More disinformation by omission.
To see a murder being committed this way -- murder of an inoocent, under color of a perverted law and legal process raises feelings that are overwhelming -- better we be overwhelmed temporarily then to ever become callous and inured to such evil.
Darn girl! In this death culture, be careful who you say that to! ;)
