I don't believe ALL the craft are merely materialized demons. I don't belivee ALL ET's are merely demons in bioengineered bodies though it appears that plenty of greys may well be.

You are right on the money. Substitute "demon" for "alien" in any of the UFO literature and certain correlations come to light.
Both are reptilian in appearance, can inhabit the bodies of corrupt humans, and have startling powers. However, they are doomed to operate behind the scenes because they are not really natives here and must use us as proxies to further their aims.

What a waste of space...

Uh, I think we lack the knowledge necessary to call much of anything in the physical universe a "waste." In the grand scheme of things, I don't doubt that all that space would serve a purpose - or have its usefulness in some way regarding us here on earth. And if the vastness of the universe is without value or meaning, we probably aren't too far behind it on that point.

On a clear winter night in 1986 or '87, I was travelling North on a little highway that shortcuts US 61 between Redwing and Hastings MN, South of Saint Paul. In a dark secluded stretch, I pulled over to tap a kidney. Almost overhead and to the West of me, I saw some phenomenum that looked like a fire that varied from blue to green with a yellow/ orange tinge. It was stationary in the sky for several seconds and then accelerated towards the North and the lights of Saint Paul faster than anything I have ever seen, and disappeared.

I do not know what I saw, but I saw what I described.

Not all are reported to be reptilian in appearance, only some. Not all are described as "creatures", they are also described as "beings." It is just too easy to say they are demons.
