A spokesperson for Michael Schiavo says Terri Schiavo's feeding tube was removed Friday with Michael in attendance.
He says a prayer service was held first, and that Michael was emotional and crying, saying he wanted to put the situation behind him.
Terri Schiavo's parents, the Schindlers, visited with Terri Friday morning, prior to the tube's removal.
Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Court Judge George Greer denied two U.S. House of Representative emergency motions Friday, which allowed the tube's removal.
The first motion was to intervene in the case for the House Committee on Government Reform and the second motion was to push the date back nine days so it could conduct what it calls a field investigation concerning the healthcare of Schiavo.
A neurologist appeared at Terri Schiavo's Pinellas Park hospice center Friday with a TV screen to show video of patients he treated that were in worse condition than Schiavo and got better.
First - Terri is not a brain dead vegetable - that is a myth. She is not in a PVS even though that is what the MSM is reporting.
Second - I was addressing the question of how someone can live with a feeding tube. Babies, people - particularly the elderly - live with feeding tubes.

Yes, Terri is a different case. However, the person I was conversing with (not you) had identified "living on a feeding tube", by itself, as a condition he would find intolerable. If you are as smart as you think you are, you will then understand why the little girl example was relevant.

By the way, after my wisdom teeth were removed I was temporarily reduced to sucking in broth through a straw. Was my life then worthless? Did it not make any sense to try to recover my ability to eat? If I had been unable to communicate should they have simply not fed me until I died and referred to it as a "right to die" case?

If what you're saying is, "So therefore, if I were in Terri's position, I'd want the tube to be removed", well again, that's fascinating autobiographical data, and thanks for sharing.
Nevertheless, what YOU "would want" is irrelevant to this case and it is projection on your part to say otherwise.

I went to medical schol with dirtbag doctors. Sadly, they do exist. Unethical, liberal, brain and reality-disconnected doctors exist. Sad fact.

Would that impeachment of the Judiciary could be based on overstepping their authority. Unfortunately, there is little precedence for this, and much against it. For all practical purposes the judge would have to commit some private criminal act like robbing a convenience store or taking a bribe to be impeached.
I hope you're wrong. As much as I despise these despicable miserable human beings, if there is going to be violence, it should happen BEFORE Terri dies, not after.

Not only has she been denied oral fluids, Judge Greer's most recent order specifically prohibits such. Furthermore, she has been denied Commonion and her priest was banished from seeing her last year because he tied to place a tiny piece of the host on her tongue. (She was capable of taking it.) This is just unconscionable.
