**Exclusive Fri Mar 18 2005 00:50:07 ET** The Chairman of the Health, Education, Labor, and Pension (HELP) Committee, Mike Enzi (R-Wyoming) has requested Terri Schiavo to testify before his congressional committee, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned. In so doing it triggers legal or statutory protections for the witness, among those protections is that nothing can be done to cause harm or death to this individual.

There's so much evidences, it's un-real !
Done!
What wonderful news. I went to bed last night in tears about Terri. I had a pretty sleepless night thinking about her and her parents.
Send in the Fed to put her in protective custody.
Hank Reardon probably advocates for stem cell research:
killing unborns to harvest their organs, so he can have a transplant whenever he needs one.
Oh, sorry - he will have to be hooked to a ventilator for that procedure.
Poor dead Hank.
Do you get flu shots? Take aspirin? Brush your teeth?
How artificial!!!!!!!!!!!
It didn't make him look that way to ME, but he could never take the money now - it would prove that it WAS just all about the money.
Yes! Excellent!
Too bad there's not a comments section - my preference would be "Yes, as soon as she's able to eat with a spoon, which she will be as soon as she gets therapy."
I'm not sure she even needs therapy to re-learn to swallow, if she's swallowing her saliva now. It might just be a question of putting the spoon up to her mouth, but of course MS has forbidden that.
How many of the people who voted "Yes" know that MS has forbidden anyone to try to feed her with a spoon?
I'll repeat my previous position.
Animals are fed food and given water. So are prisoners. So are terrorists. It is inhumane to deny an innocent woman these necessities. Any position otherwise is indefensible.
I thank Congress, the House, Florida Legislture, Jeb Bush, our President and all those that have been there in the grassroots of this to defend her.
Also, Dr. Frist's statement that she is not in a vegetative state holds far greater meaning to me than those without medical degrees in this thread more concerned with money and legalities than they are with human life. I agree we should be caeful to avoid precedents that have unintended consequences. But never should that hesitancy dictate the unintended consequence of legalizing murder. As it would if Terri dies.
Just curious. Does anyone know who is paying for her medical bills at this point?
Me thinks he might be bowing to pressure from Free Republic!
Quite a few have been giving him facts on Terri.
Thank you God, thank you Mr Enzi, you will forever be our hero!
Well said S.S. I join you in thanking the legislature and Dr. Frist for the action taken by them. Peace, friend.
I didn't find the poll.
scroll down, in red you will see "live vote". I had trouble at first also.
Thanks! It needs freeping.
