Joe Piscopo for Governor?

As the only accomplishment of the previous occupant of the Governor's office was to make New Jersey the punch line of the world's jokes, perhaps now is the time to elect a professional comedian to lead the state.

Does anybody know whether he is a Republican or a democrat?

"DEAD HEAT." Joe Piscopo, Treat Williams, Darrin McGavin. One star, half a star for the courage of the actors who agreed to be seen in a piece like this, minus half a star for the stupidity of the actors who agreed to be seen in a movie like this.

Ah....New Joisey...where da sewer meets da sea!
Sorry, couldn't resist. Actually Jersey is a beautiful State. Nevada is...well, lonely.

Just goes to show that anyone can run in NJ. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that McGreevey is going to run again. Libs loved the gay governor.

NJ has a lot of problems, doesn't it? Who ran this state for years? Who elected these guys for years?

I was thinking about Joe Piscopo the other day and wondering what he'd been doing lately.

Gee, great idea! Why not Joe Piscopo/Bruce Springsteen ticket for governor and lieutenant governor.
I think we should all promote the idea.

The quality of NJ-based gadfly politicians has definitely decreased in the past few years.
From Paul DiNizio to Joe Piscopo?
That can't be a step in the right direction.

He sounds about what NJ deserves. I'd much sooner see Uncle Floyd Vivino become governor! I am a huge fan of Uncle Floyd! ;-)

I'll never forget the Joe Piscopo skit where he's playing the drums and one fo the cymbals has a big mound of cocaine on it. Joe alternates drumming and snorting, building up in speed.
