Verdict reached in ROBERT BLAKE CASE- will be live in courtroom 2:30 PST
Judge allowing cameras.
What's even creepier...and I will go out on a limb to predict this.... is that ALL movie actors are going to die. Every single one of them.
**shudder**
SPANKY!!! >>>>>>>>>>>>>> he hasn't changed a bit!
Yup..1967 "In Cold Blood"...I think I saw it..but don't recall..
That was an excellent movie.
My theory is based on all that I have read since the killing happened-and no, I don't read the yellow tabloids from the grocery store or wear a tinfoil hat. There are some very intolerant people here who don't think any opinion but theirs has a basis, though-you've seen seen them too, I'm sure. There always should be room for civilized debate on an issue, in my opinion.
Well, all Baretta has to do is remember to keep his eye on the sparrow...
Wasn't "Darla" the hottie?
Nam Vet
The did not tell the judge they were hung (which was the best Blake could hope for). IMO they found him GUILTY of something.
And that's the name of that tune!
Our daughter died of Crohn's complications 14 months ago today. It is a dreadful deisease.
Speaking of celebrities and Bruce Springsteen -- the other day I had the pleasure of meeting Meat Loaf, of "Bat out of Hell" fame and "Eddie" in the cult movie "Rocky Horror Picture Show." We talked politics briefly, and he said he was bummed to learn that his kids had voted for Democrats: "All the Democrats want to do is raise taxes," he said, then lamented Springsteen's political rantings, saying Bruce should just pay for everybody's taxes if he was all that fired-up about "paying his fair share."
Meat, as he is called, was an absolutely WONDERFUL man. Great sense of humor, not a tattoo on him that I could see, no earrings, no ponytail -- no "gimmicks," in other words. Just a very cool guy. Springsteen should take lessons from him.
Is that where the style and phrase "child actor hair" came from. "Child actor hair" has been in vogue in Hollywood since the 1960's, for reasons unknown. In fact, one of the most embarassing things to happen is for an adult to have "child actor hair".
Yup.
I'm not soft on any crimes usually, but this one...
I just... looking at the entire circumstances gives me sympathy for him. And because the evidence is weak, I think I'd find him not guilty.
I think... lol
I agree. Based on what I've heard I haven't been convinced at all. My gut says he did it but the state can't prove it.
Intolerance?
You ended your post with a comment about donning an asbestos suit. It appears you fear differing opinions.
Why not just post yours and welcome others without the defensive posture, is my suggestion. Be tolerant of other's opinions yourself.
WOW!! I cannot believe you'd think this. I don't know whether or not Blake is guilty nor do I really know what kind of woman his former wife was, but to want her dead just because you don't want her to raise a child is beyond the pale. Do you always feel this way toward others who anger you?
Whether guilty or innocent, I suspect the earth will continue to turn.
