The choice of Wolfowitz is seen as likely to stir controversy

The MSM attacks the President on a daily basis anyway. Might as well give them something to complain about, so they don't have so much time to dig up forgeries and lies.

I met Eugene Black once, at tea after a sailboat race. Those were the days when the bank had some respect and there was a widespread illusion that it might do some good in the world. Maybe Wolfowitz can get it back on track.

Isn't that where LBJ sent McNamara when he wanted to be rid of him?

You know I think regardless of the merits of Wolfowitz Bush's approach of going face to face with the liberal media establishment instead of trying to be diplomatic with it might be the greatest thing about GWB. It seems to me to me that future Republican presidents should seriously consider that the MSM should be considered as already dead. We should have a funeral for the MSM.

Subj: WORLD BANK NOMINATION & GENERAL INFO

1. A special congratulations to Paul Wolfowitz (aka MLNEZ #3) on being nominated to head the World Bank. Our ever-more-powerful conspiracy is moving up in the world! I wish Paul the best of luck in his new position.

2. As a result of the vacancy in the MLNEZ #3 position, we will be conducting an "internal hire" effort. If interested, please submit a resume to Marsha in Human Resources.

3. Softball league signups are underway--see Deputy Assitant MLNEZ #98 if you're interested.

4. If the weather stays nice (subtle hint to Deputy MLNEZ #71--quit playing around with the weather control machine, already) we're looking to have a picnic April 2nd, out in Area 51. We're going to have UFO rides for the kids, so bring the family.

Sincerely,

MLNEZ #5

I like Wolfowitz. He is intelligent, tough, and well spoken. That said, what does the Worldbank do? How does it do it and with whose money? I don't remember depositing any checks into the Worldbank. Why is the president involved?
This is a gap in my education.

Wolfowitz has shown such indiffierence or incompetence when it came to our military, Bush should have removed him long ago. But agree with the poster who said he is better than Bono.
