Sorry for the short notice, but as many of you heard on Rush Limbaugh word is going around that Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid is going to have a tantrum on the steps of the Capitol this afternoon at 2:15 p.m.
Supposedly, Reid will be joined by his fellow Democratic senators in his tantrum to threaten the shutdown of the Senate if the Republican majority breaks the filibuster of judicial nominees by parliamentary procedure.
Reid is being quoted as promising, If the Republicans use the nuclear option, Democrats will bring the Senate to a standstill and will only deal in matters relating to terrorism and defense.
While many conservatives believe that is a pretty tempting offer, the unconstitutional filibuster of judges must be broken this year.
Please join us on the Senate side of the Capitol, at the entrance off Constitution Avenue at 2 p.m. so we can be there on time for Reid's scheduled 2:15 tantrum.
Please bring baby pacifiers to hand out as a symbol of the Democrats' childish antics.

I wish I was close, but I couldn't get there if I tried. Go get 'em for all of us. I'll be watching to see if FoxNews covers it and I'll be there in spirit with you.

I'm torn too because the Democrats say they won't act on any legislation except terrorism matters. That actually works for me. They'll spend less money. LOL
Regardless, we certainly need to get our judicial nominees through. Aside from the WOT, it's the single most important matter facing us today, imo.
Good luck!

As I have said for quite a while now, we HAVE to get ahold of OUR Constitution before these Harry Reid's and Nancy Polsoli's and Edward Kennedy's and John Kerry's completely change everything we take for granted. We can do this by writing our Senators and Congressmen, more than once, I do every week, setting up block parties or getting fellow Republicans out for a meeting, anything to get this to Washington that we are NOT going to let these people 'rewrite' OUR Constitution....

Thanks for the encouraging words. We're still working on a rally at the Capitol for early April to support the Constitutional option.
I'm off to make some signs.

We're still working on a rally at the Capitol for early April to support the Constitutional option. Fantastic! Wish we could join you for that one, too. We might be able to make the April 30 WH Correspondents' Dinner FReep... not sure yet.
Rush talking about the "Constitutional option" now (as opposed to the term "nuclear option").
THANK YOU again, Kristinn, for all that you and the DC Chapter do for us!

The Texas dims need to ask themselves what did they gain by their little tantrum here. Answer: Nothing, but ridicule! Now, the dims in DC need to look back at that little Texas tantrum, and see that they won't get anywhere with their's, either!
Kristinn, you and the DC chapter rock! Sure wish I could somehow show up for this--but----no way! I'll be watching for the after report!

Maybe Scotty can beam me there to make it on time.
Oh please let him do this and get national coverage.
It will expose them again of their bahhhh bahhhh attitude.
Since this is a short, short notice of this event, just a few of you might be the majority in attendance. Good luck.
