UW radical groups want to kick ROTC and Recuriters off of campus

The antiwar group, the socialists, the Greens, and the multicultural coliation want to kick ROTC and military recruiters off of the UW campus and also divest in any company doing business with Israel. They eventually want to extend this to companies doing business with the US military as well.

We must stop these radicals from doing this. Some in the administration support them too, so we need to do everything on the legislative level and the grass roots level to prevent this from happening.

Good point. Paul Harvey's dear old Hillsdale College swore off gov't money so they could be master of their own curriculum.

So if these stinking Badgers do not allow ROTC (NROTC = Navy ROTC), they should have some research funds cut off. Fair is fair.

It goes beyond that. You can also make it illegal for anyone to use government funds to attend the University, including kids with government loans or government scholarships. You can even stop all COOP hiring by the government. This may seem drastic but I think it's time to send these Universities a message that their actions have serious consequences. It is outrageous to rob students who want a military career from getting that opportunity at UW.

The solution to the communist takeover of our universities is actually quite simple. Stop sending your children to these re-education camps and spending tons of your money to encourage it. At the same time, lobby your state legislatures to reduce spending on these universities which are dominated by communists.

You are exactly right. I would go further and cut all public money from these schools...and I use the term school loosely. Our Universities today are a pathetic joke of socialism, communism, and hate America teachings. Let them rot.
