Rice pointedly declined to rule out running for president in 2008 on Friday during an hour-long interview with reporters at WASHINGTON TIMES, top sources tell DRUDGE. Rice gave her most detailed explanation of a 'mildly pro-choice' stance on abortion, she would not want the government 'forcing its views' on abortion... She explained that she is libertarian on the issue, adding: 'I have been concerned about a government role'... Developing late Friday for Saturday cycles... MORE...
No it's not. If that were the correct definition, then killing deliberately in self defense, state executions, and military/police actions would all be considered "murder" as they are all deliberate taking of human life. But they are not considered murder.
That's why the poster corrected themselves in the next post by adding the word 'innocent'.
Which made their statement exactly true.
So, is the deliberate taking of innocent human life then murder?
You need to see 1171 too.
I thought Torie knew Mississippi was my native land.
and I was off by two points....which I will admit was just a hunch from recent memory.
it's 85% of Mississippi whites voted for Bush.
hell...here in TN we have a corrupted RINO-DEM legislature and a DINO governor....go figure.
We are following the Virgina and North Carolina road to hell already paved by Florida as to how Southern states implode on becoming less conservative.
Actually, where the GOP made its move in Tenn is in the Nashville metro area. Kiss those Yankees on the cheek. Western Tenn, 48% Bush, Middle Tenn, the former Dem bastion, 56% Bush, Eastern Tenn, 64% Bush. You might be pretty close on Miss. 85% times 65% equals 55.25%. 3.5% more from the blacks equals around 59%, which was the Bush percentage.
You know what? I watched what her choice did. I knew her. I know it was a twisted piety and backward priorities.
I try to be polite, but I cannot in response to your posts - I find them far too... That's why I ignored your last.
I think we'd better stop before I speak rudely to you. I'm sure you're a good person. 'Nite.
See #1174. Sorry, I pressed send too quickly.
Actually, same here. I was hoping somebody would know... :-)
Abortion is the purposeful killing of an innocent child. That is why it is immoral. The only killing of an innocent person that cannot be immoral is a killing that is accidental. "War-time collateral deaths" are unintentional killing, and not immoral, as long as the war is not immoral.
As a wild guess, about 65% to 70% of whites in Tenn voted for Bush. Bush got 57% overall. Ya, I know the word game thingie you posed. But you knew what I meant.
I really didn't. But okay.
Only if it is so judged at a trial by jury. A trial by jury is one of those rights given to us by God. Otherwise it is, like abortion, the killing of an innocent human life. We all hope that one day abortion will be considered murder with the exception of cases of rape, incest, and when the life of the mother is undeniably threatened.
So, is the deliberate taking of innocent human life then murder?
"Close" my arse Torie.
I linked you folks with their own stats. take it up with them...lol
Here read the report:
http://www.magnoliareport.com/Report60.htm
The biggest thing about nashville yankees is that they are white and may offset the burgeoning Hispanic and other minority surges here. The blacks are being diminished and some think they are now #3 after Hispanics (mex, salvador, guat)in the 7 county metro area.
We have the largest Kurdish pop outside "Kurdistan" and they vote (R) as might be imagined.
But, and I know cause I fought them throughout the election....the noisiest Dems down here and big organizers were Yankees....mostly Northeasterners or Kali entertainment types.
I doubt anyone has stats on how metro Nashville folks from North or South voted. We have lots of non Yankee transplants too.
Nashville is now more liberal than ever. The suburbs though being overrun by nimbys and greenies are not...yet.
"mildly pro-choice" is Drudge's term .
For as many people she would lose, she would gain more. Most people are not single issue voters.
That's pretty good.
I hope you're not trying to say morality is determined by the outcome of a trial by jury.
Bush won the Nashville metro area decisively. That metro area is really why the state has swung GOP. That is where the movement has been, only margially offset by the Memphis area going more Dem because it is now about 50% black, in part because a fair number of whites in that metro area now live in Desoto County, Miss.
Hmmm...well, we will continue to disagree about boys and girls conceived as the result of the unspeakable crimes of rape or incest. They don't deserve to die. And how many of them there is is utterly irrelevent.
Injustice is injustice, whether visited on one or millions.
As I said earlier in the thread, your position would have been a death sentence for my sister, and amounts to punishing the child for the sins of its father.
You do share the same position as the President, if that's what your position is.
So, if this is your position, why have you been screwing with pro-lifers all night?
Only if you count every single county around Davidson as Metro which is NOT the official definition.
Metro is Davidson only. It went for Kerry. Thankfully, I live in Williamson county (Franklin) which was the biggest Bush county in the state in 2004.
