This is a breaking news situation.
A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.
The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.
I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.
I just read your tagline.....ROFL!!!!
So sad. That guy is the Sheriff? He can barely read.
Only if the gun was a revolver, which is unlikely these days. Most likely is a Glock, but there are other possibilities. Glocks have various capacities depending on model and caliber, but generally greater than 10 rounds.

Like I predicted, he is just thanking people for working hard and cannot comment on an ongoing investigation.
Why not just start off the press conference by saying "I have nothing to add, but I will try to make people feel better by standing here and saying nothing meaningful."
Drat, gotta go take my kitty to the vet. He's been coughing up trolls all morning.
Y'all play nice, now.
I'll be here all week
LOL!
I agree totally.
He definately won't be joining Toastmasters any time soon...
It's still a public official of the judicial branch making the statement. The judiciary, unlike the legislative or executive, needs to remain impartial in order that due process may be attempted.
Well, attourney's could say that a wide statement without using allegedly could taint possible jurors watching the coverage and use it to move the trial or for appeal.
When I see government officials like these guys, I really begin to believe in parallel universes.
Who are we telling to shut up so I can do it too? I do love a good shut up day on FR.
Is it the ditzy person who thinks words kill just like a bullet and if your spirit "is broken" you might as well be dead?
What a drama queen!!
LOL.........now stop that.
It looks like she's been given a "timeout":

She's "banned or suspended" .....
Political correctness certainly made this all possible.
Well, that was a pretty useless news conference. Apparently there was a major disturbance at the courthouse today. Who knew?
One of my clients was accidentally pepper-sprayed just because she was nearby when a deputy had to put down a courtroom brawl...another was present when a defendant sliced his own attorney's cheek with a razor blade.
Even depos aren't always safe, although they're usually cut and dried...years ago `when I was a legal secretary a brawl broke out during a depo in our conference room. (Ironically I didn't know until I'd worked with her for years that one of my clients was the reporter who was in our law firm that day!)
I have immense respect for reporters, who perform reporting miracles, often during stressful situations. When I read trials it's always because they've been appealed...there's never any doubt in my mind the defendants are guilty. I like to think I'm doing a small part to help keep the creeps behind bars when I help a reporter make her transcript as perfect as possible, so defense attorneys can't poke holes in anything :).
LOL
