WASHINGTON - It was an intimate political gathering: Sen. John F. Kerry [related, bio] playing host to about 100 of his richest friends.
Kerry huddled with his top fund-raisers Monday night in his Georgetown mansion, preparing a massive money push aimed at keeping the defeated presidential nominee's ambitions alive.
``He wants to keep his team together,'' said one member of Kerry's national finance team. ``He's looking ahead. He will be a strong voice in the party.''
Strategists say Kerry will use his new political action committee, Keeping America's Promise, to promote his agenda, help party causes and keep his army of 2.7 million supporters together.
``It's something that has never been done before - in terms of a nominee coming back,'' said a Kerry source. ``We're trying to stay relevant.''
Unlike most defeated nominees, Kerry has barely broken stride since the November election.
He's been busy pushing legislation on kid's health care, traveling overseas, raising money and expanding his political network.
Kerry's PAC will raise money for other candidates, parties and issues - helping Kerry build political chits.
He will also use his PAC for staff, travel and more fund-raising.
WHAT OTHER PARTIES?? Communist?

LMAO... I don't think I need to add to that. It speaks for itself.
This is a very elaborate temper tantrum on his part - he didn't get the presidency at the first go, so he'll scream and hold his breath till he turns blue until he gets it. Metaphorically speaking.

Oh how I long for the old days when losers would slink out of sight with a little bit of class. I guess that's too much to expect from the likes of Kerry.
The same kind of momentum that pulls the turd out of a toilet when it flushes.
His agenda doesn't matter, didn't you hear that he's a Vietnam War Hero and has 3 purple hearts??

That Andrew Miga was a cheerleader for Kerry all through the campaign, and it looks like he hasn't stopped. If he's not on Kerry's payroll, he should be.
I don't know about that. After a devastating loss on the Carter/Mondale ticket in 1980, Walter Mondale immediately began preparations for his comeback in 1984. That worked out beautifully for the country. Perhaps kerry will give us a repeat performance.

Sorry, it's Hillary's turn. Kerry will be destroyed by his own party this time. Russert bringing up Form 180 for the first time a few weeks ago was the warning shot across the bow.
