"I'll bet you think 1911 is great gun. ----> 19th century"Heh...heh. Sure do. Actually it was the early 20th century.
I have two, and would bet my life on 'em.
Every handgunner should have at least one good 1911.
Can I get a witness?

A carry GLOCK chambered with a trigger guard covering holster is optimal.

The video's legitWell maybe it is legit, but it's the funniest thing I've seen in a while. "I'm the only one qualified to handle this here, that I know of" BANG. Just damn. I don't understand why there aren't 3,000 posts on this thread....

Right. And how would having been trained with the NRA's rules have made any difference?

The other thing that concerns me. He made no effort to determine where the slug ended up.
Did it go through the floor into another classroom? It could have ricocheted or fragments could have hit one of the children in the classroom.

Hi All-
"...The video's legit..."
Too legit to quit! [/MC Hammer]
Is this the sharpest and most qualified agent the DEA could secure for school outreach programs, or were they going for the whole "it takes a thug to reach a thug" angle? Yikes.

Simply amazing. Thanks for pinging me to this. Amazing. So many bad decisions were made here, from someone giving this guy a badge to someone deciding he needed to talk to these kids about gun safety to him removing his weapon from the holster where at least it wasn't bothering anybody right up to him letting someone else clear his gun for him.
But by far the worst decision made regarding this incident was when some moron handed this fool another weapon after he'd already shot himself!

Do the NRA rules and Colonel Cooper's rules address the same situation? Seems to me the NRA rules apply to hunting, while the colonel's rules apply to self-defense? So to say one set is superior to the other may be misleading?

he should have used a Sig. Better safety! Ummmmm actually no safety, but then the brain is the real safety device and this guys brain was obviously malfunctioning.....
A Sig does have a much heavier DA trigger pull, so this idiot would have known (theoretically) that the gun was about to go boom.
