The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Threat Matrix - Daily Terrorism Threat

U.S. works 'day and night' to rein in al-Qaida
Full Story

WASHINGTON - Prompted by new intelligence indicating Osama bin Laden reached out to the most feared terrorist in Iraq, President Bush charged Thursday that "al-Qaida still hopes to attack us on our own soil."

"Recently, we learned that Osama bin Laden has urged the terrorist Zarqawi to form a group to conduct attacks outside Iraq, including here in the United States," Bush said at the swearing-in of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff.

The president vowed, "We're working every day and night to dismantle (bin Laden's) network and to bring him to justice."

The Las Vegas Sheriff is on KDWN once a month for questions and answers.

This month, he requested that people take clear photographs of the signs and graffiti, with them, the police can tell
where the gangs are moving and many other things that we
cannot read.

He also says that many cities and towns will come and paint over the signs.

What a shame that we are at a point, that each county needs a special department to cover gang signs.

Instead of running out of the country, don't you think that they will simply and quietly assimilate themselves into our society just as so many nazi war criminals attempted after WWII?

Fascinating reading. Thank you, KOH. From a literary standpoint, I'm especially impressed with the epic style in which these accounts are written. If we didn't recognize the names or other modern conventions mentioned in the stories, they could have been written a thousand years ago. It's an impressive method for lionizing a fighter and a cause.

Has anyone set this to verse?

A link on Drudge confirms the gang problems on the Red Lake reservation. It also notes the shooter was on Prozac. Every kid involved in a school shooting had a history of depression and was on Prozac. See the article.

Interesting analysis that I found - for all

More Iraqis are losing their fear of terrorists. In the last three days, tips from Iraqis have led Iraqi police and troops to several terrorist hideouts. This has resulted in some spectacular gun battles, and the deaths of over 130 terrorists (and about a dozen police and soldiers.) The Iraqis have been using their growing force of SWAT teams to carry out the raids, with American forces providing backup and air cover. One raid, north of Baghdad, left 85 terrorists dead, and revealed a suicide car bomb workshop, as well as documents and weapons. The dead terrorists included men from many foreign countries (Persian Gulf states, Algeria, Morocco, Afghanistan, and the Philippines.) The government was quick to let the local media film the crime scenes and interview people. The police and army commandos have become national heroes, with their fame increasing after each successful raid. The traditional Iraqi style for such work was heavy handed, time consuming and clumsy. The SWAT teams are quick, efficient, and cause little collateral damage. This is in sharp contrast to the terrorists, who continue to set off bombs in crowded civilian areas, killing women and children in the process. The terrorists have also been hitting schools, and killing children, with mortar shells. This is probably a matter of an unskilled terrorist aiming the mortar, but the damage to the terrorist’s reputation is done. However, there have been deliberate killings of women and children by terrorists recently, apparently in an attempt to terrorize Iraqis into not supporting the government. This tactic isn't working, and the government is jumping all over this barbaric behavior to encourage Iraqis to stand up and turn in terrorists.

There appear to be no more than 3-4,000 terrorists and anti-government fighters out there. This was deduced when American intelligence paid close attention to terrorist operations last January, in an attempt to get a better idea of just how many terrorists, and anti-government gunmen, there actually were in the country. It was believed that the terrorists would make a maximum effort in January to derail the election, and would get all of their people out for this. Since January, there appear to have been substantial defections from anti-government groups, and the terrorists can no longer depend on Sunni Arabs to keep mum about where terrorist safe houses and workshops are set up.

American casualties continue to decline. U.S. combat deaths are down some 40 percent from February, and are only about a third of what they were in January. Casualties haven't been this low since the Spring of 2003, right after Saddam was toppled. The hard core Sunni Arabs who continued to support Saddam and the Baath Party are a broken force, with most of their leaders either captured, or negotiating deals with the government. Al Qaeda continues to see Iraq as their most important battleground. But the terrorists coming to Iraq find themselves fighting Iraqis, not Americans. The Iraqis, not happy about being the target for al Qaeda bombs, has gone after the terrorists with a vengeance. Al Qaeda is also being hammered in countries throughout the Middle East. This is not quite the sort of war Osama bin Laden had in mind, but it's what he's got, and it doesn't play well for bin Laden in the Arab media.

yo peeps.. to me it seems like something may have activated for a cell or something, that plant isn't fn Lenny from the simpsons dropping a match!

Pretty extreme shit yet terror is being ruled out? in most of our eyes, maybe timely? i dont like the tone of shit right now, its been a bit quiet everywhere, so glad i dont get cnn right now cuz it's fn shciavo and michael when i knew that guy was a fn pedo in 1996 the FIRST time he settled out of court for it.

But, is that really news? has anybody ever considered, WHAT IF, and this is f*cking elementary, these psychos do a shitload of shoulder to air missles on planes at the same time? like, VERY SCARY THOUGHT. what if they all stepped into their backyard, or drove to a remote area and set a bunch off timed? I AM NOT GIVING OUT IDEAS THIS HAS ONLY CAME TO MIND. the casualites would be fn sick.

I just dont like how quiet its been from their front other than declarartions..

combine lasers with shoulder to air, itd be a mess. worst case scenerio (perhaps) but, it feels up they have been gearing up for something big for a while after empty threats of a 'deathblow' going back almost 2 years.

...Just random shit going through my mind guys, im personally in 'smoke em while we got em a bit more.

this headline, yeah right:

anyways peece guys, I'd post more but all i have are thoughts and nothing that lets me know more about them other that something may have fn started on their end. and it's their sophistication aspect that makes me think abotu what they may have planned, we're all in a big question mark right now, their 'navy'(thx a lot to jill st.) we dont know what ships these guys own either, and their diver mentions, the most i've thought about that way is divers planting explosives on the underbelly of a ship, our problem is, WHERE?!?! that diving osama pic stood out a while ago.

Just a bit paro but chill about wtf may be up, like someone else said (sorry guys i cant remember who) , cuz of all the recent military moves, it DOES look like everybody is preparing for something.

yknow, i wont ever say stay safe anymore cuz i think we are beyond that, our days are until something big goes down.. cept for Zionforever when you make yer dropoff !

just "oh shit" ping, quiet and oil will go up today. peece all.
