The Prince has No Clothes
Ron Prince and Andy Ramirez of the Save our State Initiative (not to be confused with saveoursate.org) started attacking Mike Spence, CCIR and the Save Our License Committee. To be Sure Save Our License screwed up big time by not filing the campaign documents as required by the state.
But I was more shocked at the nerve of Ramirez and Prince in claiming they never supported Save Our license. I called their office and they told me no of the problems with initiative. Now after the liberal media started attacking Spence and Save Our License they joined in.
Why? Mr.. Prince has tried three times since prop. 187 to qualify an initiative and failed. Proposition 187 was placed on the ballot by the California Republican Party, CCIR and Dick Mountjoy. Look at the campaign records on file in Sacramento.
Ah yes. Campaign records. That is one of the reasons Ramirez and Prince have attacked Spence and Save Our License.
According to the records on file at the County of Los Angeles Registrar Recorders office. Save Our State raised $58660.01 in all of 2004. They spent $38356.34 on the effort to qualify the Save Our State initiative. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but $38,000 doesnt a state initiative make.
Worse the Save Our State committee has an outstanding fine of over $1500 for filing 155 days late!!!!. I would like to link to that information, but Save Our State did not file electronically as required by law. Campaign reporting at (562) 462-2339)
Andy Ramirez wrote on his website at http://www.andyramirez.com/ that
There are only two reasons a campaign fails to file their campaign reports on time, one is to keep their donations hidden from rivals seeking to hit up their donors. The second is what I suspect to be clearly the case here, to keep records & facts hidden.
Well then what is the answer? Why did Save Our State file late???
If you look at their expenditures on behalf of Save Our State, Most of the Money went to run their office. Edison, Time Warner etc But there was $6000 of the $38,000 sent as contributions to a group called Stop the Fraud. Stop the Fraud is group using a Chino PO Box. The same PO Box as Friends of the Border Patrol. The group Andy Ramirez claims to run. (Federal records show this group has raised a little over $1000 http://herndon1.sdrdc.com/cgi-bin/cancomsrs/?_04+C00405316)
Stop the Fraud has one contributor (the actual documents say loan. Which means SOS or Stop the Fraud filed it wrong) Save Our State. Other than a PO Box the only expense is Andy Ramirez. Ramirez is listed as the Assistant Treasurer. (SB County. 909 - 387 8300)
Ron Prince and Save Our State are filing late to cover up the laundering of money to Andy Ramirez. Then they attack others who have raised more money and had better success themselves.
Andy Ramirez, Ron Prince it is time to Stop the Fraud and come clean. You never had any intentions of really trying to qualify an initiative. You broke campaign laws so no one would look at Andys slush fund and now you attack volunteers of a real (admittedly unsuccessful) campaign to divert attention from the truth. Shame on you.
Since you just signed up today, noaliens guy, you should know that Vanities such as this one go in the Chat forum, not the News forum.
Do Andy Ramirez and Ron Prince have anything to with Kevin Shelly?
Hey, "noaliens', it's the law! What don't you understand about the word "illegal?"
Your organization should be shut down, assets seized and no officer of your group ever allowed to have any type license to operate any type organization or business.
