"As a Democrat, you don't want anything nice to happen to the Republicans, and you don't want them to have progress," Soderberg observed, before quickly adding, "But as an American, you hope good things would happen." --- which one are you, Nancy?

We aren't surprised because this is what we expect from the dums.
They hope for the worst for America.

"Well, there's still Iran and North Korea, don't forget. There's still hope for the rest of us ... There's always hope that this might not work."My God! Why didn't the evil Dem. Soderberg just come right out and ask that G.W. and the entire administration come down with leprosy?

The show is a comedy show--but like all good comedy there is an element of truth underlying the joke.

There's always hope that this might not work...This is really, really, really, sick.
We could always hope for another 9/11. That would be great.

INCLUDING the failure of social secutity. By the way, I cancelled my AARP and gave them 'what for' and am hoping more will do the same.

"As a Democrat, you don't want anything nice to happen to the Republicans". If this is the way a person democrat or republician would think, they are not helping America. If you think a country is run by the biggest mob that is in at the moment, then go live in some marxist or communist country. People in the Afganiststan and Iraq are showing that they are happy about the way their countries are going. Other countries have started to move in the direction of Freedom and Liberty. God Bless America and all who defend Her Past, Present, and the Future to come.

I have AARP Medi-Gap and am researching information on other companies so I can cancel.
I have already called and let them know I am not amused at their selfish, immoral criticism of the privatising portion of saving social security.

"Them to have progress."
As opposed to what? And who is them?
It is
America that is making progress.
Ideas and philosophies are the things that make progress, and you either oppose the successful ones and fail, or find those elements that are common to success, and see why your agenda does not measure up to that standard.
Not try to refine your message, or engage in the gutter demagogue so common to losers.
Hey Nance, progress or success, is the result of a no excuses barred use of a belief system that works! - America's!
Not all the excuses that settle like flies around your quasi-socialist agenda to transform America into France.
Still don't get it? Here it is:
"It's not the way you are presenting your message, it is your message itself that is a failure."

They're democrats first, and Americans second,
and yes, I always question their patriotism.
ALWAYS.

As you indicate, the logic holds that one cannot be a democrat and a good American at the same time. Scary.

I heard the audio of Nancy Soderberg on the drive in to work yesterday listening to the Laura Ingraham show. From my recollection it was stated that Bill Clinton wrote the intoduction in her book and Madeline Albright also chimed in.
Another example of the anti-freedom, anti-American Democratic Crime Syndicate at work. Domestic enemies are much harder to defeat.
