The ad that will run in the Wednesday March 2nd edition of the Boulder Daily Camera.

Churchill is a girrrlie-man, like Kerry!
Churchill is a girrrlie-man, like Kerry!
Churchill is a girrrlie-man, like Kerry!
Not to mention that he has the most annoying voice of any lib I have ever heard.
the result of a new product his wife's gynecologist recommended.
(/s)
Churchill is not a liberal. John Kerry is an ultra right winger compared to Churchill. Even a sworn marxist, Cord from Boulder, who calls into Mike Rosen's radio show here on KOA here in Denver calls Churchill 'out there'.
LOL !!!
They are so alike, you are right. The only difference is Kerry has the money to clean up his looks.God, are they alike. It's scairy.
grade retribution.
How about posting the Prof's ad as well?
Watch what you say about my man Tonto, paleface!
I wonder if this CREEP has any corporate backing though grants, foundations, etc. I am not much for boycotts, but I would love to slam any company that would dare to back what Churchill has to say. For that matter, I would have a problem with any company that supports the university as long as they stand behind this guy.
$2600 of his $4000 for a 70 minute speech , all expenses billed under another line item in addition to the speaking fee, was paid by "private donations" which can be obtained from UW under FOIA if they want to resist...the rest of the expenses were paid by all the students at UW, i.e. student fees. Student fees are another way to gouge students and then do what the admin wants to do with the funds. The students pay for it whether they want it or not. Captive and guaranteed audience.
Do you know about any endowments directly to the university, or to Churchill himself, through corporations?
Again, it is so frustrating to have to honor this lowlife's right to free speach. But I do not have to unwittingly support companies that may be throwing their support to UC and Churchill.
Ask cajungirl...she might be able to help...or write the attorneys who took out the ad...or write Rutledge, one of the regents at CU who wants churchill the tyrant fired...look up CU regents and get e-mail
I am new here. I am a cross between a Zell Miller Democrat and an Arnold Republican. I am not amused by this moron's essay, nor his fraud. I do not want him fired, because that would allow him to be the victim, instead I want people to exercise their right to freedom of expression too. Churchill's essay was entitled "Chickens come home to roost" or at least he keeps repeating that phrase. Well, yes, dear mr. fraud Churchill they do. This is why I hope, with the help of others, all of your chickens will come home to roost as well.
I do not know of any law that prevents people from sending this university, or this moron a bunch of chickens! Like truckfulls of chickens. Not the kind you eat either, but some kind that you do not eat, (maybe a plymouth variety), so they will just be a menace. I would like anyone to advise me on the legality of sending this jerk live poultry? I don't want to break any laws, but I want express my disgust in some way, and I want WC to know that he has some chickens that are going to come home to roost too! If no one can send real live chickens, then can he be sent chickens purchased at the grocery store? Is that against the law? I'm sure it would be inedible once it got there. Or, if you can't send either of those then he ought to get a ton of pictures of chickens...I mean a million or more. Maybe chicken feathers would work and he could stuff them in his head dress! Do you think it matters if this goes to his home or the University? Ward Churchill does not know what a fury he has unleashed, and this from a Democrat okay!! This guy is what ruins the USA, and you can bet his essay is translated into every terrorist language in the world, that hate Americans. Let's start a "send Ward's chickens home to roost" campaign, it seems ike legal, and perfect poetic justice. What do you all think?
Does anyone have his home address?
(added on edit:I might have posted this in the wrong place before (under photos) but let me tell you, I'm still as mad anyone could be about this guy. There are reasonable people that fall under the (D) and this moron is not speaking in my name and I want him to know it!) Thank You.
Ummm chicken legs are 79 cents at Food Lion....I think it is a helluva good idea to send him some chicken...one piece at a time in sealed envelopes...who knows , he may like chickens to come home to roost with him
Is the CO Daily ad that appeared two days before this one, bearing 10% of the CU-Boulder professoriate's signatures, on-line anywhere? I'm a disgruntled alumnus(Classics, '02) and I'd like to see if I recognize anybody.
I haven't seen it posted on-line as of yet.
I received from CU today a response to my email:

On behalf of the Board of Regents and President Hoffman, I want to
thank you for taking the time to comment on Professor Ward Churchill.
While the issue is difficult, we can only be served by having an open
and honest dialog as we move forward together.
Let me state unequivocally that Professor Churchill's views are his own
and do not represent the views of University of Colorado faculty,
staff, students, administration or Regents.
As you may suspect, we have received comments from concerned local and
national citizens expressing viewpoints that range from urging for his
dismissal from the CU-Boulder faculty and other disciplinary measures
to supporting his right to express his opinions.
At the Feb. 3 Board of Regents meeting, I announced a course of action
that provides due process. Over the next few weeks, I will oversee a
thorough examination of Professor Churchill's writings, speeches, tape
recordings and other works. The purpose of this internal review is to
determine whether Professor Churchill overstepped his bounds as a
faculty member, showing cause for dismissal as outlined in the Laws of
the Regents.
At the conclusion of this examination, I will determine whether to
issue a notice of intent to dismiss for cause, other action as
appropriate, or no action. If a notice to dismiss for cause or some
other action is issued then the subsequent process will be governed by
the Laws of the Regents.
Before such a decision can be made, the University must observe due
process as required by the U.S. Constitution and the Laws of the
Regents. The University is obligated to carefully balance the
protections afforded by the First Amendment, as well as follow very
specific University rules and processes for faculty discipline. Our
processes will guide our actions in the most thoughtful and equitable
manner.
I am hopeful that you will consider the actions already taken to deal
with this matter that strikes so deeply at both our national conscience
and the core tenets of any institution of higher education.
President Hoffman has stated, "The rights afforded those of us in the
academic community to pursue our scholarly work come with a heavy
responsibility to behave with integrity and professionalism and to meet
the highest ethical standards our disciplines demand.
These standards create the boundaries within which academic freedom
rests."
I encourage you to visit the CU-Boulder News Center Web site at
<http://www.colorado.edu/news/reports/churchill/> for additional
information and updates on this situation.
Again, we thank you for your interest in the University of Colorado and
for expressing your opinion.
Sincerely,
Philip P. DiStefano
Interim Chancellor
In His Forever Grip
