Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV) is not happy that the majority party in the Senate is debating on using the U.S. Constitution and senate rules as guide to allow Federal judicial nominees their rightful vote in the full Senate. According to UPI the pompous ex-Klansman is threatening to become a "major presence on the Senate floor if Republicans alter Senate rules to prevent judicial nominations from being blocked by a minority of senators."

The former KKK member then compared the GOP to Adolf Hitler.

From Fox News: On Tuesday, Sen. Robert Byrd compared Republican tactics on nominees to Adolph Hitler's use of power in Nazi Germany.

Why has no one talked about this in public...byrd's background. where is the NAACP, Jesse, Sharpton?

Because the democrats control public access via mass media...
And every time the media steps out of line, the democrats accuse them of political bias, and heads roll.

When are we going to learn that this is where the real battle lies... and not in the halls of congress?

Well, Sen. Byrd certainly knows a lot about racism.

He personally filibustered the Civil Rights Act.

He suffers from a form of dementia. I can excuse a crazy man's rantings, but what I don't understand or excuse is the voters that elected him. What's wrong with these people?

[Rolls eyes] "Sigh...Can't you guys get a new whipping boy? I'm tired being dragged into every single argument a liberal can't win on the merits. At least pick on someone else! Try Mussolini; the Duce is lonely these days."

Robert Byrd participated in the filibuster in an effort to keep the Civil Rights act from being passed (1964 I think)

Charles Krauthamer said that Byrd carefully omitted that bit of historical trivia from his litany of
filibusters on Hume's Tuesday show.

The cracking of MSM is why the dems have been going wild. They're gasping their last dying breaths if they can't regain power and shut down free media. And the smart ones among them know this.

I have been noticing a slight shift in the MSM.
I hope it keeps building.
Maybe someone should do a reality show which highlights all of the hypocracy of our elected officials, regardless of the side of the isle they are on.

He did more than participate, he personally set the world record for the filibuster.
