Isn't it time the citizens declared war on Mexico?

I wonder if they have off-peak rates for coyotes.

The biggest problem doesn't have to do with the Mexicans (or even non-Mexicans) who are crawling across the border.

It has to do with Mexico, and no US President has actually ever made the state of Mexico get up and be responsible for its own acts and its own people.

With the peak season for illegal border crossings looming in the next few months...

Is there a "non-peak season"?

""It's no different from seeing a burglar in your neighbor's house and calling the sheriff," Gilchrist said."

Actually it IS different from that... it is like seeing a burglar entering YOUR OWN home and calling the cops. This country is our home, and they are demonstrating as much disrespect for us, and contempt for our law, as someone who is walking into your home illegally and against your will. Their VERY FIRST ACT, the moment their foot touches our soil, is to demonstrate contempt for the will of the people who live in this home.

Well we'll see when the right to protect ones property takes precedence over an invasion from foreign trespassers. Who the h do these people think they are. Time for a giant canal along the border. Or bring the military home from Iraq, they are needed for the invasion right here at home.

Mexican Foreign Secretary Luis Ernesto Derbez said Monday that the Mexican government will take legal action against any vigilante militia groups at the U.S.-Mexico border who harm or violate the rights of undocumented migrants crossing into the United States.<

Okay, I must have a reading comprehension problem. The Mexican govenernment will legally attack Americans trying to stop the illegal invasion of America by Mexicans???

"We are going to attack by all legal means," Derbez told reporters at a news conference. "We are presenting the reasons why we consider this action to be incorrect and illegal from the point of view not only of our government but also under U.S. law."

Carumba!!! All legal means to protect their illegal invasion using U.S. laws?!!! My BS meter blow off the scale within reading the first sentence of this offal.

"Derbez added that he had asked a group of U.S. lawyers in Los Angeles to put together a legal strategy to confront the actions of Minuteman Project volunteers."

Mexico cautions border watch group

If I said what I wanted to say about the arrogance of a forgeign government criticizing the actions of American citizens on American soil, I would be banned.

If all the reporting is correct, I am becoming of the opinion that Mexico needs a real, sure as heck, ass-kicking where we convince these people that this is our country, not theirs.

No more crap about Reconquista. Carry your asses back to Mexico and stay there unless we give our written consent to your presence.

It has to be convincing and un-mistakeable.

I'd like to see Mexico caution its citizens from entering the US illegally.

I'm not a big fan of these vigilante groups, but the hypocrisy on the Mexican side is apparent to all.

Mexico is taking this to a whole new level with this legal action. As this is saying US citizens do not have the right to assemble freely in US territory.

Free assembly is one of our most basic rights, and thus trying to disallow in short means they are taking control of the territory with Mexican law and sovereignty, and it would not be surprising if they can succeed, given our spineless politicians and greedy business lobbyists who want more slaves and would be unwilling to support the US constitution and who seem to have more influence over our courts than the US citizens.

If the government doesn't handle this for real, there is going to be an eruption I fear of violance between these two countries over these unwanted border crossings.

"this year a large and highly organized effort has appeared called the Minuteman Project,"

"Large" . . . . . AND 'highly organized." I like the sound of it. It has a nice LEGAL air about it...

"along the border and assist border law enforcement officials for the entire month of April in catching illegal border crossers,"

"So far, Gilchrist said he had received more than 800 applications from U.S. citizens who wanted to volunteer with the project."

WOW! Eight Hundred! Imagine that! Eight Hundred American Citizens willing to pull money out of their back pocket, sacrifice an entire year's worth of vacation, drive for days from all over the united States and camp out for weeks, just to shine a flashlight on a criminal illegal alien border buster!

Sounds to me like a LOT of Americans are FED UP with lies and BS from the government that is spending billions on "Homeland Security" and "Border Control" that is kicking back with the attitude that catching only 30% of the criminal illegal alien border busters is "acceptable."

In response to the prospect of legal action taken against the Minuteman Project, Gilchrist said, "Mexico should mind its own business, but instead it's trying to encourage violence."

Gosh, Jim is so very soft spoken and forgiving... I would rather have enough troops on the border in combination with civilian contractors so that an armadillo could not get through and just tell mexico to take a flying jump up . . . .

And for the volunteers, why, I don't see a vigilante yahoo anywhere! I do seem to remember another bunch of American Volunteers...

I think this latest verbage and legal stunt (re the Minutemen) from the Mexican syndicate known as Fox and friends is about as bad a PR move as you can get. It gets them nothing...and just pisses Americans off.

No wonder these clowns cant run their own country. They are clueless dumbasses.
