CHICAGO (AP) -- Authorities found two bodies at the home of a federal judge Monday night, and Chicago police and the FBI were investigating. The bodies were found at the home of U.S. District Judge Joan Humphrey Lefkow, but the judge was uninjured, police spokesman Patrick Camden said.
He declined to elaborate.
FBI agents were assisting police but would provide no details.
In a way,but since it has a different name,it hardly matters, now does it?
I'm afraid you are right. Researching this is like taking a bath in a scum pond. Twisted minds.
Yes I have noticed that. Usually if you can emulate in some way, so it hits you harder.
I know I worry about my own Mom, whom I just adore! she is getting up there in age, no stopping her either. She goes on Medical Missions all the time, and I worry till she is home. SO when it's an elderly mother it hits me.
Oooh! I Like that one!
Maybe she had a copy of shrillaries thesis.....?
Prayers for her and her family.
Wheaton College in Massachusetts was a women's college until 1987.
Whoever did this and those who applaud it are first cousins to Zarcharwi and/or Saddam. This was their kind of op.
My sympathy to this woman who has lost forever those most dear to her
Thanks. I still wonder why he didn't go after the court in Oregon, though. But, I don't really want to know what or how he thinks.
Poor woman. She needs a lot of prayers tonight. As do her daughters.
Oh, horsefeathers ... to quote another poster on a previous thread:
NAZI = National SOCIALIST Workers Party
or
NAZIS = SOCIALISTS
Thanks. I thought she ruled in favor of Hale and the Oregon court overturned her. But no matter. He evidently doesn't think the laws apply to him anyway.
Which is now 2 years shy of twenty years,or two decades ago.
While the pejorative use of the word 'retarded' is very ugly, I am certain that harrowup posted it without thinking first, perhaps as others had done. We all need reminding from time to time the inestimable value of all life.
I agree - killing the family is much more of a punishment than killing the judge. Criminals think like that - they would believe losing her family would hurt her more.
that's what a sarcasm tag is for. relax.
Except that the other Wheaton in is Illinois where the judge also went to law school, practiced law, and served as a judge.
Sorry to change the subject, but your tag line reminded me a a song my Dad, a WWII vet, used to sing when he was drinking, even though he was a Sailor in the Pacific theater. "Roger Young, Roger Young, fought and died for the men he marched among, in the everlasting glory of the infantry, lives the spirit of Private Roger Young". He said it as a song that came out to honor an army grunt who died fighting the Japanese on New Georgia in the Solomons. Not exactly the Green Beret song, but a catchy tune none the less. Semper Fidelis.
